I love the sound of the rain hitting the tent 😊

As a life-long camper 79 years of age, I saw many problems that could compromise safety. The bowsaw and hatchet are on the ground between you and the exit; in case of sudden darkness, or a flash fire, they are in your way. Speaking of fire, I remain very much against any fire in any tent. Tents, even hot tents, are only flame resistant or flame retardant; they are not flameproof. A kick of the leg during sleep or any sudden move to catch a falling pot can tip the stove over. Kerosine lamps are very useful outside the tent, but your light source inside the tent should be a battery lamp. Though it didn't apply here, a campfire should not be directly in front of the exit or close to your tent and, unless you set up a watch throughout the night, the campfire should be extinguished before retiring. Not to bawl you out, just wanting to keep a fellow camper safe. 😊

I saw him feed his dog well before he fed himself! And his dog is respectful and well trained! But put your wood in the tent before it rains and gets wet!

Really like the tent design, think you could have benefited from a ground sheet or tent floor if that is an option. Also know that a floor, or full ground sheet is not always best when you are hot tenting. You and Mars weathered the storm well and it looked pretty cozy in there, even with the rain and wind. Great experience as usual sir, thanks for bringing us along!
