  • I relate with Mattie on this one. We have a cat and someone put the window open in the bedroom, and the cat was sitting in front of the window trying to jump 2 stories. (I know she can survive it but then she would be gone) I slowly walked to her, sat and the bed to not make her jump, and she came on the bed as well. I grabbed her, closed the window, and yelled at the person who left the window open. Also, my cat would've just straight up jumped over those spikes
  • Mattie- ‘you put spikes?’ ‘Pet repellent spikes 😁’ He was so proud of himself

I can relate to Mattie tbh. I dont even let my cat outside cuz im too scared that he just leaves and doesnt come back lmao

Maybe a big net around it would work? Idk I would be nervous too 😭
  • @Elfy80
she's still a worried parent, That's what I call a perfect caring person
  • @dayofalldays
dude i would still be anxious too💀 id have to put up a full on screen before I’d let my animals anywhere near that ledge

Matttie: “YOU PUT SPIKES??!!!” Carter: “Cat repellant spikes!” 🦸🏻😀 Edit: thank you so much for all the likes!!! 💕

Actually that'll encourage them to jump over 😳😳the spikes. cats have great agility. You would not be fast enough to catch them.
  • Cat jumps up there. Gets stabbed and then jumps over the ledge in reaction to said getting stabbed.

I love that she still immediately took the cat inside and did not care about the spike guard
  • Mattie is me. My cats are inside cats. But it’s because years ago I had a cat that was both inside and outside and she was outside when two dogs ran onto our property attacked my cat killing her. She was weeks away from turning 18 so she couldn’t run away fast enough from them. I remember screaming at the dogs and chasing away before going to my cat and her dying in my arms. It was the day before my birthday. That was 10 years ago and I’m still a anxious over protective cat mum.

They make a type of netting that's used to keep cats in yards, as long as the holes are smaller than the cat's head, they can't go through.
  • I relate with Mattie, but that's so cute how he tried to reason with her and make her feel safer.
  • I'm glad you helped your roommate. Also that is so smart.
