Fun fact for language enthusiasts: Even though a wolverine is not a canine but part of the Mustelidae family that also includes badgers, weasels and otters among others, the name wolverine derives from the word wolvering, which is a diminutive of wolver, which does indeed mean "savage animal or man who behaves like a wolf", ultimately stemming from the name wolf. The more you know. 😁👍
