Literally everyone is like “OMG the mum is so mean” and “ It’s Cami Li’s day not the Mums” but the mum was actually willing to buy 2 dresses just to make Cami Li happy.

I mean, in the end, she really really loved that white dress, and her mum was happy in the process. Why’s everyone saying she got bullied, at the beginning she was but in the end she chose a dress that she, herself, loved and nearly cried in. She didn’t cry in any of the black dresses, and loved the white so much she would chose it over any black dress to the reception. In the end, she got to decide, and she chose the white one.

Being Hispanic, I can relate so much w/ this family. Most Hispanic families (especially mothers) are very traditional. I like that women's style. It kinda reminds me of my own.

This is just how hispanic moms are. They’re very loud and very opinionated. This is actually quite normal in my family (how the mom acted). At the end of the day, I’m sure her moms loves and her very much and would’ve been fine if Cami chose the black dress (there’s another scene where her mom admits that in the end, she just wants Cami to be happy and asked if she truly loved the second black dress because she would’ve been fine with it).

WOW you people are experiencing major culture shock. At the end of the day, they were both looking out for each others' happiness because they love each other. She looks STUNNING and glowy in the white dress. Of course she also looked good in the black dress, she's very pretty and has a nice body 🙄. But she herself felt some type of way in white!
