When you find yourself in the midst of a fierce battle, when the challenges seem overwhelming, call on the name of Jesus. When you feel like you are under attack from all sides, when the pressures of life are weighing you down, call on the name of Jesus. His name carries the power to create a way where there seems to be no way. Jesus Christ is the only name that can bring life to a situation that appears dead and beyond hope.
In every circumstance, whether you are facing trials or temptations, difficulties or despair, remember that the name of Jesus is your refuge and strength. When you call on His name, He promises to be with you, to guide you, to protect you, and to give you the victory you need. There is nothing too hard for Him. His name has the power to change your situation, to bring healing, to provide peace, and to offer salvation.
Listen closely, my dear friends. You might find yourself in situations where you feel outnumbered, outmatched, or outsmarted by your enemies. Life's challenges can seem overwhelming, and you might feel powerless against them. But remember this: as long as you believe in the name of Jesus, you will have power, and you will have victory.
Many of you are listening from different walks of life, facing various kinds of battles—be it personal struggles, family issues, health problems, financial difficulties, or spiritual conflicts. Each of these battles can feel daunting, but it's crucial to understand that everything you need to overcome them can be found in the name of Jesus.
In Revelation 1 verse 8, the Bible tells us, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end," says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." This powerful statement from God means that He is the beginning of all things and the end of all things. He is the origin and the conclusion. Everything starts with Him, and everything ends with Him.
Now, my sister, my brother, as you’re listening to this message, whether you are driving, sitting at home, or wherever you may be, I encourage you to take a moment right now to praise the name of Jesus Christ. Pause whatever you are doing and call on His name. Worship His name because everything we need is found in His name. You might be going through a difficult test or a tough trial at this very moment, but I want you to remember that there is victory in the name of Jesus. There is a breakthrough waiting for your situation in His name. All that you need is in His name.
One significant danger for every believer is the tendency to fall into a web of complacency concerning the things of God. It’s so easy to get comfortable, preferring to say a quick prayer for the day rather than taking the time to earnestly seek God daily. We can become so preoccupied with our day-to-day lives—our jobs, our families, our hobbies—that we quickly become too busy for God. Many of us justify our busyness with reasons like, “There just aren’t enough hours in the day,” or “I have too much on my plate, too many responsibilities.”
But dear people of God, hear me clearly—we should never be so busy that we cannot devote quality time to seek daily, personal fellowship with Jesus Christ. The demands and responsibilities of life will always be there, but our relationship with God should take precedence over everything else.
Now, with the mighty name of Jesus in mind, let us pray.
