  • I left to Golf at 5 am and when I returned Chrissy had filmed this video. She spent all day editing and I am so proud of my partner. She is 100 % responsible for this production- I had the day off. She is so talented. Love ❤️ Rob

I met my filipina wife in 1975 while serving in the US Navy and married her in he Philippines in 1976. We celebrate 49 years of marriage this August. We have two adult sons and 3 grandchildren. It has been a great life together.

This Video could be a guideline for all who wish to find a Partner. Be honest, friendly, share minds, hopes and fear. See you soon 🤗🤗
  • Chrissy, you are inspirational and a stellar example of a Filipina. Thank you for sharing.
  • What an excellent video, Chrissy. You offered a great view into the mind of a Filipina with modesty and grace. Especially valuable was the detailing of your experience with Rob, of your hopes and fears, and of your likes and dislikes. Your editing was professional and your presentation was personal and sincere. You shared a glimpse into your history, and it was a refreshing look into a woman with a good heart and an intelligent mind who also has the resilience to turn momentary losses in life into an ultimate win. For all who are looking for a new start with a Filipina, this was a video of great hope. You are an excellent example of the type of woman most men are in search of. You are realistic, and yet, you are filled with hope. You are kind, and so, you value kindness. You are observant and thoughtful, and everything you are you had seen in Rob. That is why your future together will be one of mutual giving, true appreciation of one another, and so, will culminate with the fulfillment of both of your deepest desires. The both of you make a great team, and so, it is what will make your coming marriage a success story which others will strive to replicate.

There are three things in life that give you the keys of the Universe, Gratitude, Love, and Kindness. Keys to the Universe means everything you wish for come to you. It looks to me like you found that out. I head all three of those mentioned in this presentation from you. I am genuinely happy for you, and your family.

Isn’t it amazing how life can change so quickly. One minute you are down and another you are up. Happy your love story turned out to be happy. I wish more happiness to both of you.

Wow, I have so many words that I can't put on the internet for this (this is the short version) - you're so kind to share this story with us, Chrissy. I will say this in return for your sharing. My parents got divorced when I was 7, I'm pretty sure my dad left my mom for the person who became my step-mother, it wasn't a fun time. For Rob, my mom remarried and my step father helped raise me. He's such an awesome person for sharing his life with us and though it was hard for me to share as I was growing up how much I loved him and appreciated his time, he knows now. You will be such a cool parent for Chrissy's son - if you ever feel a bit awkward just remember this bit. For Chrissy, you know life isn't fair firsthand and don't for a second think that how other people selfishly put themselves before you and treated you poorly somehow decides what kind of person you are or how much confidence you should have in yourself. You're clearly a smart and beautiful lady and you have a good guy with you now. Please don't let those memories haunt you, ball them up like a sheet of paper and toss them in the trash. You've got this, take this opportunity you have now and go live the blessed life that you deserve. I know now that I was lucky that my parents didn't stay together, thanks to my mom and stepdad I'm living a great life now and so will your kiddo. Have a great day you two =)

Chrissy thank you for telling your life experience and I am very happy to see you now have happiness and security with dignity you deserve . all the best for your future.
  • @AzerPaul
What a beauty! You two are truly meant for each other. You both deeply care for each other. It’s wonderful to see. This was a most interesting story.
  • Any man would be proud to have such a strong, resilient woman. You have a pleasant speaking voice; easy to listen to.

One of my favorite parts of y'alls videos is Chrissy dancing at the end. Not just because she's a beautiful woman, but because she exudes joy and zest for her life. There's a country song by Leann Womack called "I hope you dance" (maybe, you can add it to your karaoke repertoire Chrissy)...and that is what I wish for you both in your upcoming marriage and life together. I wish you happiness and i hope you dance ❤
  • @robertclaus1102
That was an extremely good video, Chrissy. As always, you were classy with your presentation. It is much appreciated. God bless.
  • What an amazing story. My heart hurt when I listened to your story of your early years. I know it's tough to listen to those red flags when we're young. The darkest stages of our lives often bring the greatest expansion of who we become, allowing the light within us to grow. So proud of your story Chrissy. Your ex-husband will get what he deserves in life. Rod, I have a lot of respect for you. You're a good man, and that's what Chrissy found in you. You are so deserving of each other. Thank you for this beautiful story.
  • Chrissy- that was a heartfelt description from your perspective. It was also so articulate in laying out your experiences, hopes, fears and insecurities. Things we all feel, but not many verbalize. My deep hope is that you can do more of these interviews from the woman’s perspective interviewing other Filipinas on similar journeys whether the journeys are happy or tragic, or like most, a good bit of both! Really an amazing video.
  • @19211926
You are a beautiful person. God Bless you and thank you for your story. Your husband is a lucky man. And yes, you are very beautiful lady.
  • @rlh125
What a great and honest video. Of all the Philippines channels I have watched, I have never heard the Filipina tell her whole story like this. It's very helpful. Thanks, Chrissy. 🙂👍

My wife and I were together almost 3 years before we married. Being together, living together, knowing each other... all of this is very very important. This will go a long way to insure your marriage lasts a long, long time.
