In this video i show you how to increase the grip on your scalextric car tyres. This should only be done on the rear tyres since they do all the handling.

I imagine this process is not recommend because it might degrade the rubber? Because this is exactly what I want to try. I don’t want to have to swap out the awesome looking “model” tires for unrealistic silicone or whatever. Is this process really that bad? I definitely need some solution however. Plastic track way to slippery for no-magnet racing.

Or just buy some new tyres and put some oil on the other cars tyres win win
