Ah yes the three things I'm most incapable of: Maths, French, and sleep
-
Trying to relax but more stressed about imagining myself as a student STRUGGLING to understand a single word he's saying lol
-
It’s always better when it’s unintentional and I don’t know why
-
Camera swings around and it’s a kindergarten class.
-
This is actually PhD french mathemathician Daniel Bennequin presenting his doctoral dissertation, he is famous for having a theory called the Bennequin-Thurston number, about math knots and topology
-
He sounds like Robin William's portraying a shy French man who has walked into a class room and unintentionally starting teaching 😂
-
Not exactly a point of pride when a teacher's class is described as sleep-inducing
-
He genuinely seems to be a gentle soul bless him
-
I had a Russian teacher like this where you could not understand a word he said. Failed unfortunately. Went to a different school in the district and passed easily. So it was definitely him.
-
Imagine this guy visiting YouTube and finding his lectures reuploaded as "sleep-inducing ASMR" 🙂
-
This isn't a class, it's a visiting lecture. Don't worry about failing!
-
I'm from Romania, but I studied civil engineering in english, and I had a few old romanian professors who talked exactly the same as this guy. You could not understand a single thing. One was like 85 yo and sometimes fell asleep while teaching. So, I'm trained, I actually understand what he's saying lmao
-
Sounds nice but the quiet soft spoken speaking with a heavy French accent mixed with the sloppy chalkboard handwriting at a university level would make this class a nightmare😂
-
As someone in their 5th year of a math doctorate, I understood a solid 60% of this lol.
-
4 minutes 25 seconds into the video, I realized he is speaking English
-
This has made me discover that I miss the sound of chalk on a blackboard after finishing education 30 years ago...not the lessons, just the sound
-
Imagine having this class around 1:30, right after lunch... no ma’am, I would fail instantly
-
I would fail this class
-
My AP stats teacher would always give the most fascinating lectures but his voice was so relaxing that it made me fall asleep at least once a week
-
0:02 the way he flip his phone
