As a cosmetologist I hate how incorrectly people are taking the no-shampoo movement. You should still be using shampoo and cleaning your hair and scalp, too much buildup is bad, stinky and uncomfortable. A frequent issue though is some people shampoo waaaayy to often for their hair type, texture, length, and scalp condition. For example afro texture hair really only needs shampooed one a month. Or if you have shorter straight hair with an oily scalp you might need to shampoo as often as every day or every other day. If your hair isnt getting crazy oily or smelly, you should try waiting a couple more days to shampoo. How frequently someone shampoo's their hair varies greatly for each individual person, it can be ANYWHERE between daily to monthly. But please still wash your hair AND your scalp. (The scalp is most important to focus on cause thats where the oil and buildup is)

United States of America army: did you sayā€¦ Oil??
  • You could also try using apple cider vinegar. It's super great for your hair and scalp and it will help your hair feel cleaner.

Just use sulphate-free shampoos lol. People that say "oh my hair doesn't smell", nah it definitely does. Follow it up with a hydrating conditioner.

nice hair anyway, here how to make peporoni pizza --- Ingredients: Pizza dough (you can make your own or buy pre-made dough) Pizza sauce (homemade or store-bought) Mozzarella cheese, shredded Pepperoni slices (high-quality pepperoni works best) Olive oil Cornmeal or flour (for dusting) Instructions: Preheat Your Oven: Preheat your oven to the highest temperature it can go, typically around 500Ā°F (260Ā°C) or higher. Make sure your pizza stone or baking sheet is inside the oven as it preheats. Prepare the Dough: If you're using pre-made dough, allow it to come to room temperature. On a lightly floured surface, stretch and shape the dough into your desired pizza shape. If you prefer a thicker crust, you can roll the dough out to be thicker. For a thinner crust, roll it out thinner. Prepare the Pizza Stone or Baking Sheet: If you're using a pizza stone, sprinkle cornmeal on the pizza peel to prevent sticking. If you're using a baking sheet, lightly grease it or use parchment paper. Assemble the Pizza: Place the stretched dough onto the prepared pizza peel or baking sheet. Brush the edges of the dough with olive oil to create a golden crust. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce. Arrange the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese. Bake the Pizza: Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated oven. If using a pizza stone, slide the pizza from the peel onto the hot stone. Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned. Serve: Once the pizza is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a minute or two before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious pepperoni pizza!

Currently going on four months of no shampoo, best decision I've ever made. My hair feels super nice, and is in amazing condition.
  • Shampoo is used to get sebum off your hair! Sebum is the oil/grease we see on our hair. Itā€™s normal and all natural and everyone has it! Each hair has the sebaceous gland which produces it. Itā€™s a hair protectant but builds up over time which is why we use shampoo to get it out!

For everyone that didn't know, shampoo doesn't really work unless you have skin or hair problems like extremely oily hair or dry scalp. Shampoo can in many cased cause head/hair medical problems, just use requal shower gel, the cheaper the stuff the better. (Although I'm not sure if it works the same on the ladies)
  • @Crosmert
2 years without using shampoo and my hair is fine, no oilly at all and it feels nice. The only thing you have to do is when you shower give a bit more attention to your washing.
  • @kuriptic
Itā€™s also dependent on whoā€™s hair it is with how often you should shampoo. I have to do it every day because my hair just gets so greasy so fast and it sucks
  • @fellowspy5312
The easiest way to live without shampoo is to shave your head once, and while the hair grows back - wash with water only. Just so you know :)
