john could have won this match. round 4 john: "come inside" john lost that round allowing irakli to further compromise his shoulder. he did this when he only needed one more round to win. John was stupidly strong at 59

I think another reason Irakli managed to get out of John's press so many times is he may have actually tried to force his wrist back when he was getting pressed, and that is very awkward position to press in, since you're so over pronated, and it makes your press way less effective.

I give Irakli little credit for this match. Fouling on purpose like he did twice should carry some consequences. This shouldn’t be a part of the sport.

the flop press does not target the bicep. the bicep is for curling WHEN AND ONLY WHEN supinated. when neutral or pronated elbow flexion is achieved through the brachialis. sidenote-when u post it's not the bicep. i think most armwrrestler's misunderstand this
