1.) The stock exhaust looks perfect with the bodywork… the sound can be improved on with an aftermarket system, but you sacrifice cohesive looks with the bodywork… 2.) The quick shifter is perfect if you use it correctly (higher revs/in acceleration) 3.) The cruise control is golden once you get used to it. 4.) There is absolutely nothing wrong with the looks of this bike; best looking middleweight naked available

Great review from you two! Great engine. 100HP is in my opinion a sweet spot. An Italian bike with a good turning circle is novel and welcoming. Ha! Definitely a nice gamut of electronics, but like Tegan, I'd barely use them. Those pilling footpads are futile with a "seat" like that. Watching the video, the cheapness for me is those stickers. They look like they were applied while they were pushing them onto the ship. Aprillias are always fun to ride. Yum yum!
  • Great review. I am a proud and happy owner of this amazing machine. It makes me happy every time I ride it. I would not change it for any other bike of its class. The bike is pure joy.

Great review. I’ve owned this bike for a few months now and agree all comments made are fair and a good summary. The quick shifter is a bit glitchy 1-2, 2-3 about town in dynamic. My gripe at the moment as I try to kit it out for weekend trips? Even though there is a great cargo or luggage plate standard, once you remove the pillion seat/rear cowl to use it actually unlocks the riders seat to flop around. There is an Aprilia part to fix the problem but you can’t actually buy it anywhere in Australia or internationally currently. Otherwise great bike and enjoying. Cheers
  • From someone who hasn't ridden since about 1987, and then on a BMW R1000RT down to the south of France, I really think this a great 'new' entry bike for me at 55yo.

picking mine up in early march :)

The tech on the Aprilia’s is some of the best I have ever sampled (on the Tuareg). If it is the same on the Tuono, it would be money well spent.

I own the RS660 version of this - I think I would've preferred the Tuono Factory for the street riding.
  • That chain looks very loose ? What is the gadget that appears and disappears on the left handlebar ?
  • The passenger seat you had in this video isn't the passenger seat, its the cover of the seat to make it looks prettier

hi, i have 5.4feet(164cm), my question is, it's fine to do long travel's with my height, Or will my back be too lean?
  • How would you compare this to the KTM duke 890r? Maybe the Aprilia looks better but that KTM is an absolute machine. Would love to see those 2 compared. Can't decide between a 660, 890r and the street triple RS. Help me decide lol
