"To be happy... to have peace in her heart... to be a really good grown-up." That's parenting. Best wishes to you all.
-
omg I'm here when she is now composing "The Bridgerton Musical" and it's just amazing seeing how far she's come now.
-
She is not a girl with gift, she is a gift to the world.
-
So lucky to have a mom like that....who wants her to "be happy, at peace, a good grown up...."
-
Where do you see her in 10 years? wherever she wants to go. damn. words to freaking live by.

This Quincey Jones quote is golden- "Your music is only as good as the person that you are."

I am probably the most untalented person on earth. What I am is an audience. When I see and hear incredibly wonder artists like this girl…I am totally amazed at the talent and gratefully receive the gift these incredibly wonderful people give us. God bless you Emily and thank you for blessing us with your God given gift.

There are tons of kids who have had the opportunity to take lessons from the greatest musicians on earth (see Tiffany Poon, Anna Larsen, George Li). None of them have the composing abilities that Emily has. She's not famous for her classical playing, but for her ability to compose pieces, sometimes very complex pieces, many based on an image or an idea, off the top of her head without stopping or reworking anything. That can't be taught, no matter how good the teacher.

She is a National Treasure. Kudos to her parents/family for keeping her grounded and well adjusted.

Yes! Music comes from within… deep within the person. It is an unusual sparkle and zest. It oozes out… it cannot be stopped. Emily’s parents seem to be well grounded themselves and that will help Emily and her siblings develop into well grounded adults. Good luck and live well Bear Family. 😄👍

This girl is phenomenal.

Its great to see a child being mentored in a safe, respectful, brilliant way. Totally opposite what Hollywood has done to its prodigies.

Emily is very successful and talented. I don't understand why she gets so little coverage. I was hooked after watching her perform Rhapsody In Blue. She was only 13 and a full orchestra Soloist.

I have met Emily in person and I have to say it was an awe-inspiring experience. Genius comes along once in a long while but is often accompanied by a diva personality and a big ego. Emily's quiet humility almost knocks the breath out of you. And she seems surrounded by a power and a force of intelligence that's tactile in its presence. A true gift of God. One falls in love immediately.

And what a lovely family Emily is from. Her family is the embodiment of class. It is no surprise that she's turned into a well-spoken, respectful and very grounded young woman.
-
Wow, this young girl is an absolute gift to all those who love music of all types !!
-
I am totally stunned. What a wonderful down to earth young lady with a huge God given gift which she is sharing with the world. Go Emily...
-
There really is nothing that can be said. The music speaks for her.
-
What a fantastic person, a young girl, talented musician, composer & talented family. Playing with world class musicians 4-6x her age but all have one common interest-making music.

I am a 64 Y/O man, and I found this very uplifting at a time in my life where I struggle with pain. Emily helped me forget about my affliction, if only for a few moments. Thank you Emily.😂
