Even if the jumpscares were a bit cheap, the atmosphere was masterfully done. Kowloon was pure nightmare fuel.

Actually saw the walled city in December of 92’. The government had just completed the eviction process (after trying to gain control of the place for years), and it was finally torn down a few months later. Even though it was by all accounts a horrible place…As an OG cyberpunk junkie, seeing it was one of the defining moments of my life.

IGP needs to make a horror game because how he’s just like, “nope” should be allowed, hidden achievement, you were smart 😂

The dog treats were literally sitting out in the store he grabbed the key from😂 bro had me wanting to bash my head through every wall in that building every time he skipped them

Igp: I don’t play these games cause I know what’s going to happen Also Igp: gets terrified by everything that happens anyways And I still love it!
  • Living in a cramped city already sounds horrible. They could’ve made this game about normal day-to-day living in the city and it probably would’ve been as scary.

I like dystopian stories because they distract me from our dystopian reality

I Love when he just does dystopian type games. Absolutely unreal!!

Can we appreciate that flashlight functioning more like a real flashlight than other games do with their own flashlights?
  • @opalglass8101
The glass city is all about control. I hear they don't want anyone straying farther than a ridiculously small distance from home. They make it sound fantastic, but when you break it down, it's just about control. They're going to stack us like the people of Kowoon, down in the lower levels (if they cramp us together like the glass city implies), while the rich get to sit up at the top and actually see the outside.
  • Alright, the frantic swinging of the flashlight was pretty immersive. Really cool

I loved the entire experience and IGP's "nope" s. The full 30seconds standing at the top of the stairs as the guy groaned and cried had me cackling 😆 as always, loved to watch

I fucking love when IGP gets to the point of "yeah alright you're scary and whatever but you're in my FUCKING WAY."
  • @KanuckStreams
Kowloon Walled City was a horror setting just by itself. It was not INTENDED to be that, but it became it. This is what happens when you shove a bunch of people into an area, and then say "we are not taking care of you, take care of yourself, or die, whatever."

Huge shoutout to Skilly for always adding a slight echo on IGP's voice whenever he's in a cave or a large open area

Absolutely adore this guys content. Horror games about real places are soo much scarier in my opinion <33
  • @firehydrant31
the fact that its based on real life makes it even scarier
  • @BernicePanders
After watching a dozen players tackle this game, I'm pretty sure that end jumpscare happens only if you didn't find the dog food at the start... 🤔
  • @firehydrant31
i love how its knows when you calm down then throws out jumpscares in your face and at the same time how it builds up suspense only to find nothing happened
