I hope we now get Tangle, Whisper, Starline, Surge and Kit or maybe they'll do some of the metal virus zombie figures

The franchise series is the same as the SEGA characters line that's also Walmart exclusive. If we get more comic figures, it'll likely be IDW only. It's considered part of the main canon and its characters are given as much attention as those from the games are; we just got Tangle and Whisper as SDCC exclusive bag clips from Monogram, which we'll likely see in an ordinary blind bag series soon. It's a shame we'll probably never see Freedom Fighters merch. I'd love to see Jakks make a Sonic Legacy series similar to Transformers Legacy with characters from all other continuities besides the main one. I know there's legal issues with some characters from stuff like Sonic X, but I think it'd be cool for them to atleast do it for a big event like the 35/40th anniversary of the franchise.

I'm really surprised they haven't announced a collector's edition Shadow figure yet. With all the hype around the third movie, the new Generations game, and Sega calling 2024 the "year of Shadow", you'd think Jakks would capitalize on that. If anyone needs a re-release, I think Super Shadow is in at least the top three contenders...
