  • Just a minor point - since Level Ball is no longer around, i think Liepard (Brilliant Stars) is slightly better than Kirlia; it is the same draw engine with a bit more HP and 1 less Retreat cost 😅 In terms of setting up the draw engine, Kirlia does not have any advantage over Liepard, unless you are playing a Gardevoir ex deck.

Regidrago gets cooler and cooler every set
  • Drago is going to get scary soon. If Dragapult wasn't enough there is a new Kyurem that will devastate anyone with Colress and can be a Drago trump card. As someone that uses Gholdengo as my primary deck those wins are what make it all worth while.
  • @dnatal09
Arc/Drago is one of the cool decks to play in game and in real life. Just as long as you keep Arceus survive long enough, Regidrago V can make up its backup for its apex attack. (Tina, Koraidon, Altaria, you name it.)
  • I used regidrago vstar, its very good, but be careful, in a swiss best of 1, its hard to secure knockouts within 25 minutes, i went 3-5 in my regionals, and i got 5 double loss because of time constraint, this deck catches people by surprise, but what they forget is this has a noivern ex, and they were clueless and hence wasted my time, their decks run on almost all basic pokemon, if the belt got vacuumed, its 70 from noivern and slow to KO. Opponent are sometimes stupid if they attend events by copy paste a meta deck but clueless on what decks they will run against, you can use this deck but seriously, the output is small, but yup, this deck handles everything easily . For charizard tho, you need to altaria it to sleep, then you goodra.
  • The ability to take the ace spec back, and also the kyurem thats coming up soon, I think the deck could be really nice
  • I've got a feeling Regidrago is gonna see some big stonks with Dragapult next format, and even more so with the Kyurem in the fall set. Definitely resleeving the mad lad up. Great video, and it was really cool to get to see you at Indy! Much love homie, keep up the awesome work!
  • Is it better to have Koraidon ex rather than Giritina Vstar? It seems that going damage to yourself is better than getting rid of energy.
  • @TheBigDizz
Some fun games today! Adding Gallade and Hero's Cape though sounds sick.
  • @mclulows
This deck is a lot of fun. Great video.
  • Do you think throwing in altaria would have made this deck better? Would love to see you try this deck out again when twilight masquerade comes out cause I think being able to use dragapult exs attack and spread damage counters will make regidrago vstar much stronger. Great video LDF.
  • @donnap6253
This deck bricks so much more than you've shown here. I mean how do you even find kirlia, nest ball for ralts, ultra ball/vstar search for kirlia? Isn't that a bit slow and doesn't it take up resources for your other mon? Only one switch in deck, how do you deal with leading with anything other than arceus (not showcased) and playing against snorlax? Pull up your kirlia and your arceus is happy to wait it out on the bench? No recovery, what do you do when critical mon have to be discarded/ killed? Pure arc regi runs so much smoother, and Koraidon is better because you can save your energies for iron leaves/ more regis/ more arceus. It was a smooth ride to arceus rank on ptcgl for me, regidrago has much more potential tbh.
  • Yes!!! Finally a regidrago deck! Thought I was gonna have to wait til dragapult ex released. Hope you come back and make another when next set releases as well
  • @lor84881
Hopefully you revisit the deck after teal mask ogerpon and dragapult come out
  • Now that Zorobox is gone, this seems like a neat pivot. LDF, have you ever built a deck around Altaria from ST?... Cape decks seem like a great partner. Perhaps a Friday idea. Cheers!
  • With four double turbo energy, girantina vstar lost impact just works better than koraidon ex's attack Bcuz it's not like you'll be lost impacting every turn
  • @_6ix-
Could even play raging bolt and it would give you a way to one shot zard at the end of the game so you could play prime catcher instead. It's a liability to start it but just a thought
