I would be addicted too if I was forced to walk around in a white void with nothing but crack around

Currently 113 days sober from an alcohol addiction. The video also illustrates why it is so difficult to stop using. During addiction there is only the darkness and the substance, almost nothing else. Good thing from recovery is how much you start appreciating the light and freedom from being sober.

I love how this puts on display the very innermost core tenant of addiction, and the reason why people keep doing it even though it barely even feels good anymore: It’s hardly the way the drug makes them feel that keeps them addicted, it’s the vain hope that someday it will once again feel as magical as the first time they did it. . .

There is something i noticed, as it gets darker the Nugget doesnt change shade, it just stays as golden as ever, i think the darker it gets, the less focused on your surroundings you are and you start only wanting the thing that you are addicted to.

Guys the video isn't about drugs it's about addiction

Amazing how the addiction progress even though it was killing him, physically. This is the best illustration of addiction I have seen. The thought, "Just STOP" will no longer come out of my mouth.
  • 1 object, 1 area, 1 character. This animation is able to tell us so much with just 3 subjects in a video. I love how everything turns dark except for the nuggets at some point. Symbolising the fact that at this point it’s the only light in the bird’s life. There is too much to love tho, imma send this to myself 4 years ago

We can all agree we didn’t think the video would be like this when we first saw it.

Notice how he’s a bird without wings. First hit makes him fly. He feels like he’s meant to be that way. Represents an addictive personality very well.

This is the transition of any sort of addiction. It doesnt matter which, it just feels like this.

    世界の明度が徐々に失われてもナゲットだけが変わらず鮮やかに輝いて見えてる

I think it's really interesting how throughout the video, the 'nuggets' start to look brighter and more appealing as the world gets darker. Idk it was just a really good bit of visual storytelling

  • I like how at the end they don’t actually slurp up the nugget. It’s sort of a “It’s your choice. Do you want to continue this cycle or get better?” Kind of thing.

People say vaping is cringe or "your just breathing flavored air" but this is what it's actually like
