This man cuts his hair better than some barbers have cut mine lol
-
I tried it and now im bald and my gf broke up with me
-
The first time I ever cut my own hair, I was actually very surprised with how good it turned out. No barber will have more investment in your hair than yourself. Take you time and you can make it look exactly how you want. Canāt wait to try this technique to fade myself up!
-
Unlicensed myself, watched your video after buzzing my hair in one size for 15 years, and in less than a year I'm cutting my hair as well as friends hair and have amassed a cool 10-15 person weekly clientele on top of my regular job. Props and thanks to you!

As a licensed cosmetologist and barber, I have to applaud your self haircut my dude šš¼ šš¼ The techniques you provided to your viewers were on point and thorough. š¤š¼

This man says āI recommend setting aside 1-2 hours for when you cut your own hairā Title of the video: how to get fade in 4 minutes
-
Good job. Coming from a man who is in the Barber business for over 35 years. Dope.
-
Watching this, i figured that i shouldnāt even try haha
-
TIP: flip the clipper upside down with the "2 guard-open" and glide over the bulk, down into the fade. Helps to smooth the transition from your uncut hair to the fade
-
I came back home after getting haircut. Guess why im watching this
-
I've tried and I fuck up myself so bad that I have to buy 3 new hats to cycle them through the weekš

02:51 - no lie. I've been using that same Walmart mirror for YEARS! I thought I was the only one using it for this purpose. I stand an ironing board up against the bathroom door, then stick the mirror into the metal extension at the end of the ironining board - this allows me to angle the mirror and use the bathroom mirror to see all angles of my head. Hope this helps someone.

Very well done self fade. Some tips and advice for people new to cutting their own hair, don't try a skin fade until you have learned to blend a bit. And another technique to help blend more evenly is to get your lines established as shown and then use a comb upwards through the bottom of the line, exposing small amounts of hair through the teeth of the comb, then use your clippers against the comb. After using the comb to help cut small even amounts of hair where the lines meet finish off using the guards and upwards flicking motion. I've been doing my own fade haircuts for about 3 years now using many of the same techniques as the video.

My son and I started giving each other haircuts at the beginning of covid, then he went off to school so I didnāt have much of a choice but to start cutting my own hair. By watching videos like these and practice Iāv gotten to the point where Iāv decided Iām not going back to a barber. My hair looks good enough and I can do a quick clean up when ever I want, Iāv learned to really like it.
-
The first time i did my own haircut it took like 4 hours to actully make it look good now maybe 40 min give or take

I watched this video yesterday, and today I attempted to buzz my hair. It actually went surprisingly well! My expectations were definitely low but your guide was extremely helpful. I did most of the heavy lifting myself, then I got my dad to finish off the trim. I'm very pleased with how it all worked out š

Yes, self-haircut is like painting a self-portrait, it takes time. The more you do it, the better you become :-)
-
I've been cutting my own hair for 8 years and all you say is true. It requires time (I usually spend 1,5 hours) and my technique has improved a lot through the years. You also get to know your hair better. Some friends even ask me to cut their hair lol

My first fade on my son was a disaster! After watching your video, with not only instructions but great advice as well, I did it and it was perfect!! Aggggghhhhh! I'm so excited! THANK YOU!
