I’m really glad Roscoe’s brought some light to the whole uprising bakery situation. As someone who lives a few minutes away from that bakery it is so sad to see what is happening. I have been a few times but wish I would have gone more than I have to support the business while it was still around. It still effects me to see how close the homophobia and hatred so close to home. It hard to make it out to Chicago for drag shows and seeing all the queer friendly spaces and drag shows disappear near us is very depressing. The hateful people vandalizing ,threatening and protesting outside the bakery every single day should really get a life. I hope the owner and employees recover from this and I’m gonna donate rn

Loved Naysha’s advice about not being dismissive of Loosey or discrediting her showing. I think things really are different now and improving from when Naysha was on the show. Still lots of issues in the fandom, obviously, but I appreciate the queens now have a louder face and are setting the rules of engagement with them. I think with time the rules queens like Naysha are setting when they speak out will become the norm.
