The post office does not own the number 38777 as a text number from what I was told. You should never click links anyway, especially when it is in the form of text. You can report the messages to the United States Postal Service so they can investigate it.

Again, and I cannot emphasize this point enough. DO NOT clicks those links. Screen shot it, block and delete. You can forward the screenshot to [email protected] and tell them your name and if you clicked any links or not.

Go to the regular USPS website to get the correct information on what to do next.
