The wind in the video was almost unbearable. But thanks for the tips. You wouldn’t think that putting a patch on was that hard till you have to re-do one for the third time. lol

You can get those valve stem patches that you mentioned from gemplers
  • Finally a video to show how its done. By the Way What was the size of the tube??

I hope you checked the tire for whatever is making them holes so close together!

Can you use isopropyl alcohol instead of lacquer thinner?
  • Great video! Only recommendation is to turn the, I'm guessing, fan off. Thanks for posting!

What type or brand of patches do you use for tractor tires? The only ones I can find is the slime brand for lawn mowers lol.
  • I would get a new tube for the tire and use the one you are patching for swimming.

Have you buffed your tyre down? You keep getting punctures in that same bit of the tyre? Buff the tyre and put a patch on the tyre where it’s puncturing the tube then you won’t need to keep fixing it.

That wind noise was almost unbearable. I never heard of using lacquer thinner for cleaning tubes, I thought the sanding disc that comes with the patch kit was good enough, thanks for sharing. Also do you think all tire repair kits are equal, any better then others, auto part store vs Walmart?
