I have had RLS for most of my adult life, (I am almost 73) and I have found that there are 2 things in my diet that will trigger it big time, too much salt, and too much sugar especially after 6PM. Antihistamines are problematic also. B1 does help and I take 500 mgs of magnesium before bed…I am currently trying this new Restful Legs PM that is supposed to help RLS, the jury is still out on that one. I have been to the edge of the cliff at times and have often gotten up and marched in place for hours trying to relieve it, I sometimes get it in my arms and you feel like you just want to jump out of your skin. People who have never experienced this cannot understand, but it is real and they still don’t really know what causes it. I like reading the comments and I very much appreciate this video. The exercises are great.

My legs feel better since I started taking magnesium after supper or eating one banana at night, so thank you Dr. Rowe for sharing the beautiful videos with your audience. May God bless you in all aspects of your life.

I take magnesium glycinate daily and don't experience restless legs as often as I used to. However on occasion, it flares up when I have to ride in the car for long periods of time. I'm grateful for the exercises, as I believe I can do a version of them while being a car passenger. Thanks for posting this. I used to suffer with this issue almost daily, some times more severely so than others. I wish I'd known all this back then, but it'll be a huge help going forward!
  • All the videos about RLS and no ever mentions that some of us get it in our arms too.

We love coming to St. Joseph’s to enjoy the beach and the lake. Also, I have never been able to get any help or suggestions from the many doctors I’ve seen over the years for my restless legs. Thanks so much for this info!
