Your fourth freeze plug gets installed in the front of the head. Remove the clutch fan mount and install the new freeze plug. Make sure the groove is horizontal so the mount lays inside the groove. This what holds the plug in place.

For the electrical, ask Chad Fabs, he’s worked on Fab Rats Toyota & He’s also working on the Heavy Wrecker, from Matt’s Off-road Recovery, he’s very knowledgeable… love your Content brother!! 👍🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Tell my buddy Lieutenant Dan I said hello! Lol 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Fleece Performance has awesome fuel pickups (2 versions) to replace the stock unit that goes in the tank.

The retained freeze plugs are great if you want to turn 4K plus rpms. Same goes for the bypass, its not needed unless you want to crank some rpms. Depending on what year harnesses you have the firewall connectors are different and have different pin counts. My Crew cab has a 90 dash harness with a 90 engine harness because it uses the new style dash but has no pcm. I had to change the connector on the rear 84 harness to match the 90 down on the fender as it was different as well. I am still using the 84 fuel tank so didn't change my rear harness especially since the donor was a regular cab and would have been too short.

It's coming together great looking good, all the best to you and your loved ones

You might consider installing a block heater while your there. I love mine and it gets a lot colder where you are.
-
I love seeing the progress! Keep it up!

Hey i can send a picture, but i pulled the plug by the thermostat ran my bypass into that along/above/next to the injectors. The other plug is the front behind the fan braket

I found a factory Cummins part that bolts up to the rear freeze plug area and has a NPT threaded port, I can't seem to find the part number right now. But they are out there and a lot less money than the Fleeceyourwallet ones. All I can find now are the billet aluminiminum ones because if it is billet it is cooooollll.

Hola amigo cómo estás saludos acá de Austin tx Freddy Delgado ánimo ya mero queda la Cuminns bonito tu trabajo ánimo

I get the function and idea of the freeze plugs, but I don't think I'd trust the aluminum, cast iron and antifreeze together. That was the downfall of the old VW diesels. Awesome build!
-
What are the advantages of the aluminum freeze plugs, compared to the brass ones? Thank you
-
I think i have a stock fuel filter housing off a 2000 if you can't find yours.

what really sucks is Cummins provides a place to install a mechanical lift pump like you have but in the later ones, I have a 24 valve, and the opening is there but apparently Dodge didn't have them put the lobe on the cam to run the pump, forcing people to use the horrible electric pump or buy a high Dollar Air Dog or other aftermarket one. I have heard a lot of applications use the option to use that pump area. It would save a lot of people money but then what would the aftermarket sell to us?

My son has a either 2011 or 15 Dodge shortbed 4x,w a24 valve Cummins,auto & lift kit,he wants to sell.near awesome shape,way less than 100 k on it.nice tires & wheels.what do you think it's worth,runs xlnt!!

Should have deleted the fuel heater unit.
