yeah, I've changed a lot in the span of the past 5 years. Here were the tips I learned from those years. I do realize this video has a more emphasis on the mental aspect. The reason is because I had to face a lot of trauma when I was trying to heal myself. Without healing my inner self, I did not have the energy to do anything on myself extenerally.

I hope this video helped some of you guys! Let me know if you guys want a video dedicated to a more physical glow up!

love you all and I'll see you guys next week with a make up tutorial! ✨

after finishing this video i realized that one of the main reasons that my life is this miserable is me, i realized how all of my playlists are filled with sad songs and that i was surrounding myself with negative energy. i immediatly opened spotify and started making new playlists and i felt joy and happiness i haven't felt in months, i know it may sound silly but something about listening to happy music and feeling like i'm changing something in my life brought me so much joy even tho it's small still it's one step towards the person i wish to be. life hasn't felt this good in a while, i hope when i wake up tommorow i will still feel the same and i'll still try to change small things in my routine so i can be the happiest version of myself even tho i live in a toxic environment. thank you via for these beautiful videos

"We become the things we see". Best quote. Now I am actually thinking about my surroundings, not only people, but the place where I live and spend the most time. And also "Do things scared" which I heard from Via long time ago helped so much to try new things
  • @elleeenzz
i like that your concept of glow up is like "take care of yourself and do what you love". this is the real glow up, guys
  • Thank youuuu I hate when people post "glow-ups" that are the same as before just with their hair/makeup/outfits done now. I love seeing real changes and progress in people

I wish I had these glowup tips in my 20s..😭 I recently turned 30 and sometimes I feel "late" doing these things but better late (now) than never! I feel like I wasted my 20s being obsessed with what others have and worried about what other ppl may think but never focusing enough on myself. I constantly felt tired "socializing" and I only recently realized that I wasn't spending time with the right people. I met genuine, nice people where I don't have to "pretend" to be a certain way for them to like me. In the past, it felt like I was putting on a certain "mask" depending on which group of people I'm with and it started confusing myself about who I really am. Also, huge emphasis on processing your emotions. Do it, people. It helps build emotional resilience and that's important and potentially life-saving because life will give you a lot of shit & challenges. Anyway, Via, thank you for the glowup tips. So many take home messages. I'm sure your video will help a lot of people!❤❤

I'm not gonna lie. When I started this video, I was rolling my eyes. But wow, this is actually pretty practical advice. It's not the usual "slay girl," "my truth," and "main character" word vomit with these abstract words that make no sense even in context (Ex. Just dont even worry about them other people, you slay). It's actual, usable, and applicable advice that isn't too vague and isn't too specific. And I love the accountability aspect! 🎉 And I'm glad you're not trying to ruin anyone's way of doing things by starting off with, "you've been doing [blank] all wrong, here how you should do it"
  • @sivaganga9733
i'm so grateful for people like you please....my mom and brother drags me down when i feel really pretty...idk what to say...thank you so much...😭💌💌💌💌

ILYSM VIA <3 your videos never fail to make me feel included. because in a certain way, theyre very real, especially your feelings and thought... theyre all very relatable for a struggling teen like me 🩰💌
  • "do anything you scared" omg this is the best thing I have ever heard. It's like a joke that I have heard that but when I see your videos, I know that it's time for me to keep scared by myself when I'm trying. Before I knew English, I used to be scared it too much (i'm scared to say wrong programs, wrong words, I don't have any ideas to say, or I don't have too much vocab resources to talk with,...) but i realize that who cares about me all the journey, they just care at some moments, not all their life. So I will try, will go, will do something I really want to, thank you so much Via, sincerely, I'm grateful to know your YT channels.

weird, but I just found your videos because youtube recommended them to me and it's really the first time I feel REPRESENTED with something, the way you describe how you feel and etc etc, really makes me feel safe, tysm Via <3
  • "Believe that life can be good" that's something that i need to remind myself more often. Thank u girl 💛

Hey Via! Im turning 15 this year lol (god i cant belive it, time literarlly flies!).. Im so glad that ive found your channel, it has really helped me ALOT! Ive struggled as a child and even now I sometimes struggle but im in a better headspace then I used to be in! Thank you so much girl for posting the content that you do ❤, it has probably helped alot more people then you think, including me. Im so glad to see that there ARE also other people who've struggled and made it throught, it really gives me a good reminder that im not alone and at the end of the day I should spread kindness, not "niceness" and that i should be mature. My comment might not make sense right now 😅 and its only cause im abit dizzy but I hope its not too confusing! Sending lots of love to you Via ❤ and to everyone else <3!
