  • My brother, Gabriel, was one of the artists that created The Rock. I am thankful that you showcased this first! Thank you.

I can't wait to go on my cruise in 2024. My wife and I celebrated 30 years of marriage this past May and this trip is our gift to us. Our excursion that we plan to do while in Ketchiakn will be on the Deadliest Catch. Im a Professional photographer so Im hoping to see plenty of Eagles and Bears.
  • MY FAMILY MOVED TO AK 2 WEEKS AFTER I WAS BORN IN OLYMPIA WA. MY DAD WAS THE FOREMAN OF A LOGGING CO. ON A REMOTE ISLAND. WE LIVED THERE FOR 6 YRS THEN MOVED INTO KETCHIKAN, THEN MOVING TO SEATTLE 1 MONTH BEFORE THE EARTHQUAKE.

Thank you for sharing! We are planning our trip to Alaska for next year and will be visiting this location
  • I did 4 salmon seasons in the fishing industry there years ago. Got to see some of the darker sides of people being stuck in that place. While there are good people there, the town empties out a lot in the fall and winter time to a gloomy environment. A lot of drinking to pass the time. You'll notice that there is a bar on every block if not several. Beautiful place to visit in the summer time.

Ketchikan was great on our 8/28 cruise. But, we do not recommend the duck tour. It was just boring. The salmon run was amazing. Wanted to have a King crab leg but at $130 per leg, we skipped it.

Is rocky the minor in question? Also, the historical museum used to be the old library. I spent many hours down stairs in the back watching the small KC waterfall. It was one of the most peaceful places I can think of.

Visit us at Salmon Market at 500 Mission Street, Downtown Plaza for Wild Alaskan Smoked Salmon.
  • You really make Ketchican sound like a tourist-based creation. I hope it's more interesting than that.
  • @WillSwarm
Wow thankful! Amazing and cool! Such wow! Totally human and not AI! Cool 🫣
  • Thanks for the information. I'm really surprised that you made no mention of hiking in the rainforest. I guess it was not promoting a business so wasn't worth it idk.

I live here and its fun but also not so fun to hear people yelling on friday-saturday nights from the bars 😂

At 1:11 you said 2020... it was actually unveiled in 2010 (just like the correct captioning said).
