A former Baltimore city prosecutor has been spared prison time in her sentence for perjury and mortgage fraud. Former state’s attorney Marilyn Mosby was convicted of lying about her finances to make early withdrawals from retirement funds during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also was found guilty of fraud for claiming that her own $5,000 was a gift from her then-husband as she closed on a Florida condominium.

My goodness. Pimping her own children for her public defence😮well thieves use everyone and everything let's see how history treats her😢
  • She needs to go to jail just like everybody else. I am so disgusted by my own people. AND PLEASE stop quoting the Bible when you do not live by it!
  • So all you have to do is say the system is racist and you get away with your crimes

Hopefully the State of Florida will bring charges against her for fraud as well.

She lost her job, she lost her husband, both their reputations have been seriously damaged, she was declared indigent and she was convicted twice. Accountability is painful
  • It is disgraceful that she didn't spend time in jail, but I get it. Sometimes you do so many good works in life and then make a mistake. That's when those good works come to speak for you. My issue with her case was she continued to say she was innocent, that she was being victimized. She was not; she committed the crimes.

Just like ahe WANTED those cops prosecuted, the Taxpayers of Maryland who believe in People with Power should never abuse it. Yet she going home od course, the pardon will be next. They cover for each other.

It's pretty cheap to bring the children out. Why can't she speak for herself why does she have to bring her children.

She should be ashamed and beg God for forgiveness. This woman is so shameless and embarrassing. Putting your own children front and center during your public misconduct event. Why would anyone want to bring their children into something like this? What an awful legacy to pass on to your children.
