He made one off remark about Pride. Like three words, and now there is backlash? He didn't attack working women. He said that the greatest joy for women was marriage and motherhood. Don't like what he said. Don't get married and don't have babies. Don't like what he said about the Catholic church? (I sure don't) then don't become Catholic. (I won't) But acting like this is weird or an attack on civil society is bizarre.

Everyone should have the right to their own choices whether they want to work or stay at home. A woman and shouldn’t have to stay at home man shouldn’t have to stay at home. It should be a choice. Tired of people like him making it seem like a woman must give up her career, just sexist.

lol I would hate to think about what he feels about working women like in the hunt family or Taylor swift. He must despise her 😂

The folks at Benedictine were the ones who asked him to give the address, and apparently they're cool with it. They're of like mind, why doesn't the MSM come down of Benedictine instead?
  • @bigkeith41
Good for him speak ur mind 👍🏿❤️

I read many of the comments and it is evident there is no hope for America ever being anything that even resembles "OK' anymore. Judgment is coming.

I have to go with the kicker on this. All he's saying is one of women's choices, being a wife, mother, homemaker, etc., can also be fulfilling and valuable. I also wonder how many women would choose this option if they weren't pretty much forced to work in this wonderful economy of ours. You know there are plenty of women working now that are miserable (men too). Unfortunately, one salary just doesn't cut it for most couples. Too bad.

I don’t agree with everything he believes in however he does draw some great points for us to reflect upon. We have free speech and he used it. I don’t believe he’s trying to convey that ALL women must stay at home, simply implying that it can POSSIBLY bring more joy and fulfillment to life if the traditional roles are taken by man and woman.

MJ SOKOLIK Right on , what you said is accurate. I haven't watched the nfl for sometime, because of the take a knee issue. Been a Chiefs fan since the late 80's , lived for years in KC. I'm going to have to watch you play, became a fan of yours. Thanks

He was speaking to an audience of like minded college graduates. Why do any of you care?
  • He is free to speak his mind. He is not going to be released from the Chiefs. What nonsense.

I've never heard of this person nor do I know this college. I do know that a man who kicks a little ball for a living has no business telling anyone anything. Dumb athletes should stay in their own lane.
  • @dawnshort8987
He's really, really good at kicking a ball though. That being said, he should have kept his "pearls of wisdom" to himself.
  • So nice to see someone recognize reality. This guy, whom I hadn't known before this story, said a lot of truth. As a late 30's former career woman, I can say that from experience, most career women truly desire family life over their job. Sure, have a career to satisfy that drive to succeed. But it is better by far to fulfill that role of wife and mother! No comparison!
