Bishop's Pass 15 Sleeping Bag Review

Published 2021-07-12
I am excited for this video. Without a doubt, this is the best bag I have ever tested. It has a great fit and great loft in the down. However, I do not find a 15 degree sleeping bag useful. I know many people will LOVE this bag if it fits their needs. For my camping, I tend to spend summer months in Western USA terrain where 15 degrees are a rarity even at higher elevations.

Mountain Hardware nailed it with this one! I find that their down products always hold up well, feel nice, and are quality made.

Nice review! Different appraoch & valuable views. I think I'll consider complementing my spring/summer-bag with this one, for autumn camping in Sweden.
  • Nice review. You have a wonderful weekend. Stay safe and see you again soon.

I am gearing for the PCT 2024 and choose the Bishop Pass 15. I will make a decision on warmth the first days out of Kennedy Meadows. I think it will be prefect and your review eased my doubts on warmth. I thought maybe it might be lacking for mid June on the PCT. However I will have a smartwool base layer, and I can always wear my puffy. I expect temps in the mid 20s and will layer up if colder.

You can never have a too warm sleeping bag.

Since they make a Long Bishop are you absolutely sure the bag you used is regular? You're 6'2" it doesn't make sense
