I used to love watching this show with my grandmother

Its all about the Cherry Dipped Cone! Best DQ choice.
  • @nomad1517
Honestly, they make the best overall ice cream out of any ice cream parlor ive been to, for some reason, it just has this consistency that is truly wonderful.

Ice cream my worst guilty pleasure....I love it way too much🍦🍨😍😍

They really had to trademark a curl??? Lol I have heard it all
  • @jarednil69
HAHA I've been to DQ hundreds of times over the last few decades, and rarely did I get 'The Perfect Curl' on my cone! But what does it matter, it's better not to waste food over a curl.

Uhm...I worked at DQ and my "training" was my supervisor saying "Okay, here's the machine, this us how you make the curl. Now, I want you stand here and make cones until you get it right, might take a couple hours" I then proceeded to make a perfect cone on my second try, and a perfect sundae on my first try...it really don't require much training at all honestly 😅

It's easy to learn the q, I picked it up after a few tries when I worked at DQ at age 17, first job. I miss the endless hot fudge sundaes and blizzards.

Some people don't give me a swirl they be quick with it😂
  • They need to stop lying. We didn’t have to “train” to learn the curl. You just have a co worker show you a couple times and that’s it

I'm kinda loving these "how it's made" clips that aren't allowed to show how it's actually made. Blew my mind to find out that Frosties involve pouring pre-packaged powder into a machine.

Of course some corporate tool in a suit has to pop off with "wE OwN tHe rIgHtS tO ThE cUrL tRaDeMaRk!!!"

I remember the 10 cent ice cream 🍦 combs I was about ten or eleven years old and lived in Prescott Arkansas at the time and there was a Dairy Queen and Today at 62 I still love ❤️ my Dairy Queen ice cream 🍦 comb I think it’s the best tasting and no one else can beat it. For me it will always be number one 😌

I used to work at dq for almost a year and it was tough to get the right ice cream cone and the curl. Eventually I got it. It's tough at first, they were right about that.
