This house nearly VANISHED after the owner packed up and left during the PANDEMIC

I came across this house where the driveway was almost completely covered with debris, the grass was getting crazy tall, and the house was really hard to see because vines were taking it over. So, I knocked on the door but got no answer so I went to talk to a neighbor to see if they knew anything about it. Turns out that a lady used to live here but had to move out to go take care of her dad. They see her about once a year but other than that the house sits empty. So I thought I would get it cleaned up for the neighborhood and to help the lady out that still owns it. The vines were the craziest part and they took me about 2 hours to completely remove. I wore holes in the fingertips of my gloves and even ended up wearing the skin down too. But it was totally worth it because the before and after pics on this one turned out AWESOME!

If their was an event in the Olympics for lawn care you would win the gold medal.❤ Great job!

It’s sad to see so many vacant homes. Great job Spencer making them look less sad after a very nice uplift!
  • Hey Spencer, just want to mention, Beau of the fifth Column on you tube has been putting out 3 to 4 videos every day for 5 years with no days off. He is taking a step back and his wife is now doing the videos. Please don't burn yourself out. You are much appreciated and valuable to your community and communities you visit. All my best.Have a restful weekend.
  • So not only does this channel soothe my dog to sleep, but I'm playing this at work and half the dogs in my room immediately calmed, laid down and started to nap. This is the best dog behavior adjustment I've found.
  • You have really encouraged me, a 59 year old woman, to do my own lawn....im not good but I'm doing it! Thank you!

Hi SB I’ve been watching your videos for around a year now, And I just wanted to thank you for getting me into Lawn Care, And You’ve even inspired me to start my own Lawn Care business. I love your videos and hope you keep up the good work 🫶

I'm pretty sure their property value went up and the rat, snake and tick population went down after this amazing yard transformation! Great job SB Mowing!

Another amazing transformation! Someone should contact the owner so she can sell the house before the grass grows again.

This is an amazing transformation. I know someone mentioned this looked more like ten years of growth rather than one or two years, but I know from being unable to manage my own yard since my husband died that it only takes a year or two for things to get out of hand. My daughter and I are finally attacking things this summer, but it's shocking how fast trees and bushes spring up out of nowhere and just take over. Wonderful work you're doing!
  • I swear I could feel the house breath again. Another amazing transformation Spencer! Thanks for all you do!
  • A neighbour of my mother's went to care for her mom years ago and never returned. However, she rented her house out to someone who's been taking good care of it. As always Spencer, you've done a fantastic job of fixing it up and thereby making it less likely to be vandalized or have squatters.
  • Abandoned homes are so sad and I’m glad you make them look more presentable for all to admire. ❤
  • Definitely wore on those finger tips. People don't realize how much damage all the vines do on houses and roofs!
  • I think that picnic table in the back yard is just so sad. Great job as usual! Thank you.
  • @RhondaRTEM
I say it on all your vids. God bless your back. May it always be strong and pain free!
  • @lilli63
You gave that house a new chance to survive. I hope it'll be sold and taken care of very soon. 👏👏👏👏👏⭐️💛⭐️💛⭐️

It's really astonishing how MANY neglected, overgrown yards there are in this country ... while the neighbors do nothing except say tut tut. Bravo to Spencer not only for tackling the job but also for setting an example that others would do well to follow.
  • The transformation is remarkable. The falling apart picnic table is so sad. Those vines really take over. Great job!❤
  • @dianalong2024
Thanks Spencer! I. Can definitely see how you got holes in your gloves on this job. You saved this property from drowning. Now stand back ... take a deep breath and enjoy a job well done ❤🌿

My granny would say, "don't do anything half-a$$ed" - I'm sure a lot of cats would've left all those vines alone. you are a gentleman and a scholar, sir. Good work, as always.
