I like how Marshawn is the only one who didn’t say anything negative about him and wants to help. Shows the kind of guy he is

I can't fathom being on a team with someone who won't give you their phone number. His teammates must have absolutely hated him.

Russ when he sees a text from a teammate- “Let’s hide”
  • As a Broncos fan all I can say is. Welcome to Wal-Mart football.

It's surprising how his former team has been speaking out against him like this. Ita not just because it's a hot topic, there's been plenty of qbs who left they're teams and didn't have this amount of trash talked. Falcons ain't talking about Ryan, Patriots about Brady, Commies about Cousins, even the Texans about Watson! And he's out there grabbing women by the.....

The NFL kind of didn’t help when they subjected us to the Broncos in prime time 4 of the first 6 weeks. Seeing that much incompetent football can enrage people to the point of dropping secrets or coming out of the woodwork due to anger. I always thought Russ seemed too perfect but I shrugged it off. Now that he can’t hide behind his game anymore, things were due to come out.

I live in the Seattle area, and have been watching Seattle games because my parents are fans. I was also subjected to watching the 5th Quarter and all the pre game shows. Russell changed when he met/married Ciara. It’s that simple. She brought her show biz lifestyle into the equation, & there was an immediate change in Russ. Fans in Seattle noticed right away. It wasn’t the popular thing to say. But it’s true.
  • Before OT, Wilson was wandering around the sideline while Justin Simmons was rallying the team. It was clear from that visual that Wilson is not the leader.
  • Up here in Seattle we winced as Russell became less and less "grass roots" and more and more "Mr. Unliiiimited" with each year. The whole transition to the Ciara thing coincided with the 'real' Russell starting to show. It was fun to root for him on the field of play, but he became unbearable as a persona. So contrived and greasy.

I think the funniest part of the whole Russell Wilson situation is that one of the main reasons he wanted out of Seattle is because they wouldn't get him an o-line and then the first draft after he's gone, they take a left tackle in the first round lol
  • This has always been Russell's game, Seahawks just masked it well. Even during our best years, we required very specific personnel to accept how RW3 plays. Super unselfish receivers that wouldn't get too frustrated with not being seen when they were wide open for example.

Everybody is an expert in hindsight 😂😂
  • Russell Wilson sounds like the Dolores Umbridge of the NFL.
  • @Swampchicken
Throw back to when Doug Baldwin didn’t even talk about Russ when he retired.
  • Russ has gotten complacent. Paying him before the season even started was a terrible blunder on Broncos part. Russ is a celebrity in his own mind. Glaringly obvious
  • Remember seeing after sb 49 manning coming up to Sherman after the game asking him if he was OK cause he knew Richard was little bangedup . Thought that was total class.

Can you imagine pat hearing that teammates couldn’t get ahold of the qb? When he was teammates with one of the greatest qbs, that didn’t need to talk to the punter? Ya Russ deserves some of the talk he’s getting
