Best Pressure Washer Hoses: Uberflex VS Flexzilla | Kink Free Power Washer Hoses | Car Detailing DIY

Published 2021-06-15
Ive used the UberFlex and Flexzilla Pressure Washer Hoses and love both of them! Ive always said they look to have the same construction but have been told by others that they are not the same. I decided to do a side by side comparison to see just how similar they are and which one is better. ENJOY!

  • This is by far my favorite detailing channel! Thank you for being so transparent, informative, and thorough with your reviews! And thank you for taking the time to link everything you like to use in the description!! Much love!
  • @MiklaDfar
I LOVE how you dig into the details and research when comparing. Thanks for another awesome vid!
  • @kndvds1492
I've watched a dozen or more of your videos. I appreciate them. All good info with no wasted time. Thanks
  • @themightysquid
Excellent review! Thorough investigation. I bought a 75ft Flexzilla garden hose and right out of the box it was like wresting a snake. Tried it again and it kept twisting and gripping on itself. Immediately returned it and got a Kitys Fatch (never heard of them)hose that works just fine.

I had my UberFlex 50 ft hose for almost 3 years! I bought it from Lowe's, it was rebranded as Kobalt hose when they used to sell them. I'm pretty sure it's now discontinued off their site. The tips on the inside got rusty started flaking around the o rings and the hose had some discoloration from chemicals and the outside elements. Last week it got a tear in line mostly likely from me or a sharp object in the garage. Even though it was made in the USA which was one of my reason for buying it held up pretty decent. Good value for money but recently just upgraded to KobraJet 50 ft hose its amazing! It has more heft compared to the UberFlex. That can be a plus and a minus for many. Looking forward to testing it out in the long run. Whatever works with your budget do has you please, there's nothing wrong with that!

I appreciated your reviews of pressure washer hoses. I took your advice and got a 50’ Uberflex hose for washing my car. It’s great to reach around the vehicle without moving anything, and I don’t need an extension cord anymore. Thanks again.
  • @WhalerGA
I appreciate how thorough you are. You saved me a lot of time !!
  • @kathy1256
That was great! Thanks for doing all the hard work for us! Very interesting and informative—So glad you found out about the patent numbers before you cut into the hoses!
  • @JoeU2Bee
I usually don't comment but, MAN you make the best VIDs! Not just the subject one looks for but an excellent presentation in being detailed. Pride in What You Do! 😉👍
  • @lgzz4885
You earned my sub brother👏 I absolutely loved u went the extra mile looking up the patents. I bought 2- 50’ flexzilla air hoses not too long ago & have been fairly happy w/ them, but if the Uber flex is cheaper I’m going w/ that in this scenario. Thanks😊
  • @hamididdy
Hey. Ordered flexzilla on your recommendation. Much appreciated and thank you very much for your videos. Definitely subscribed.
  • @Rais1959
Great research !!! Thanks for your effort going deep. All the best and God bless. Take care.
  • @RyKnocks
Great info! Thanks for looking all of this up.
  • @Skinbom
I bought the 50’ Flexzilla because the Uberflex was out of stock. Thanks for the recommendation, this hose is super nice. Going to use it on my VE52 as well as my Ryobi gas. Already tossed the stock hoses from both machines.
  • @loophole3526
I know it’s an older video but I just wanted to say that Legacy could be manufacturing the hoses in house but licensing the patent. That could help to explain the price difference. Either way all those hoses are just fantastic. Flexzilla is my hose of choice for air hoses and garden hoses at the house and their high flow air quick connections are the best I’ve used.
  • Been a big fan of your channel, been purchasing products you recommended and haven’t gone wrong, flexzilla hose is a must.decided I only needed 25 ft wrong you definitely need 50 which is more then enough to make the job easier. Wish I would have listened
  • @g.fortin3228
I tried yesterday after watching.. would not be delivered until may 8 or later, must be low on stock but flexzilla is coming tomorrow. need it quicker. I wanted the cheaper one, i believe you as you use them and you know.. but must be supply chain slowdowns. Thank you for the compare. Your info on this channel is so helpful ! Used your links for connectors and foam canon !
  • UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust youtube.com/post/Ugkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMR… . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.
