  • 100% I hated Signals & Systems so much that I dove into it and chose it as one of my graduate subspecialties. Such an amazing field of EE.

I need to do advice for everyone, there's no such a good or bad career and your career isn't a box 🎁 or either a unique way, nowadays we need more polymaths rather than specialists due the increasing demand of interdisciplinary approach of the studies and jobs however it's important to focus on a thematic field in order to get a satisfactory and grateful experience
  • @VoidOfTheMachine
Thank you so much for posting this video. I'm a senior in high school soon to be pursuing a B.S. in EE and soon a Ph.D. and your videos have been a massive help!

I'm about 4 months away from starting my degree in EE and your videos have been a huge help in helping me choose this major. I was considering some other engineering fields even though EE has always stuck out to me, and this video just cemented my choice once and for all! Plenty of the subfields you explained already look so fun and interesting, and I can't wait to start taking classes on them so I can figure out which career to choose in the future. You did such a good job at explaining everything in an understandable yet informative way, and i'll definetely be checking your book out! Thank you so much for what you do, from a fellow future engineer! <3
  • @dennis4419
Perfect video for the situation I am in right now, thank you!
  • @kevinthewind
I really enjoyed this overview! I’m gonna go for analog/mixed signal/RF microelectronics/IC design
  • @Bianca-jy6wg
Hey Ali. I’m watching from Australia, about to enter my 4th year of undergrad EE. I love your videos and just wanted to say thank you so much for all the effort you put in 😊 really admire your work!
  • @1224natalie
Ali, really thank you for posting this video.
  • Watching all the way from Botswana, thank you so much for this informative video, I’m starting my undergrad soon and your video has really given me a reason to persue EE , I’ve also always loved it❤️
  • @bigbao9843
Indeed, thank you for this 40 minute video, all gold I've bought your book on Amazon, really like this book.
  • @koshka02
great video Ali this video has a ton of value as someone completing their degree.
  • @ItsMeTheUser
Priceless pieces of information! Please keep inspiring us!
  • @peterkravets
The best video and explanation ever. Thank you so much
  • @canisblupus2426
Another great video! I would love to see a video on the mindset required to be an engineer e.g.(First Principles thinking)and how to develop it
  • @michaele9398
Great video. Was always unsure of the subfields because never really understood all the fields.
  • So glad I found this channel after deciding to go back to college for EE 4 years after high school. You really give me a lot more confidence and hope for my future endeavors bro.👌🏽

engineering photonics is the future and you can definitely mix telecommunications/signal processing with RF and Microwaves technology due their relationship in the area that I'm interested in is remote sensing and satellite communications. According to photonics it is just THz Waves but for now we need further R&D in order to get a better applications.
  • The video was great . We look forward to seeing more content about careers in EE .
