  • Here at JW-Modules, we are making life worth living one module at a time.
  • @RobCowie
Finally someone who treats me like the idiot I am with modular! I actually learned a lot from this vid. Thanks Cameron!
  • @AUTOSAD777
Hey, Cameron. I've been subbed to this channel for 2 years now, and I rarely comment, but I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you. You don't do the same stuff as other channels. And that's the part that has kept me watching your stuff more than the others that I started with when I was first learning. Even your videos about getting over writers block and your philosophical, and personal stuff is unique, and lets me know that a real human being that honestly cares about others is right here. You probably won't catch this comment, but by the off chance that you do: Thank you, sincerely. Your hard work is appreciated. And so, I'm taking a moment to let you know that. I hope others do too.

One of the Cardinal devs here. AMA.
  • This is now in my top three channels. Love this content. Learning more here than I though possible on YouTube
  • @Schemilix
I love Cardinal so much! They have Aria Salvatrice's plugins too. A tip I got from her is using a square wave AS a gate.
  • @radsy5821
After years of thinking I'll never be able to grok modular, I've started up the first steep slope of the Dunning Kruger curve. Thanks Cameron & Cardinal!
  • @cuezaireekaa
such an under-subbed channel. you should be in the millions, considering your massive brain power, clear and concise teaching capabilities, and wicked dry sense of humor. thanks for what you do cam
  • @ASTROMEGA
I find that a lot of content, like this,l by independent broadcasters are done in more professional and informative way than most of the content on traditional terrestrial TV.
  • @jakoblaban429
This program is sooo much fun. Thank for the presentation! Only been patching for a couple hours and am down the most beautiful rabbit holes I've bee down in a long time. 🙏🕉
  • @bozhidarkn
This is some world class educational content. From the explanations, through the flow coated by your perfect diction and pronunciation. Amazing Job!
  • @bmorshep
This was excellent information, thank you. I downloaded Cardinal based on another video of yours and now I'm ready to go down the rabbit hole, lol. What a great way to learn and experiment with moduler and synthesis. Thanks for your great videos, they are by far the most helpful in getting started with synth, sound design, etc. that I've found. I appreciate you, this is what the internet is good for. I'm headed to your Patreon soon (after Christmas lol). Thanks again!
  • I appreciate seeing you give Cardinal the love it deserves. It's usually a mediocre choice for "basic" setups like using it as a typical synth or filter, but it really shines when you need that extra, personalized touch that your other plugins can't give you; one of my favorite uses is building effects that react to MIDI input. Also, it's beautiful for just messing around and experimenting, you can learn lots of new ways to make noise with it, and even create your own synthesis method if you feel like it.
  • Amazing how you can simplify the visuals, concepts and overviews in your videos. What a tremendous resource you are for sound designers, composers, and producers. Thank you...
  • I have no words to thank you for finally help me understand how these amazing sounds and music are made. Blessings from Mexico
  • @kabedford
I really appreciate this introductory look at Cardinal and modular in general. Thank you! :)
  • @franksilval
This is one of the best channels ever in my production journey learning. Thank you so much.
  • I understand your sentiment regarding modular tutorial videos. I'm pretty addicted to Omri's channel especially since im just getting my head in the modular game(learning vcv rack for about 1 year.) Though the time it must take to make a thorough modular tutorial must be a seriously insane undertaking. Even though I'm hooked on his channel I have to say it's hardly a good day without my morning coffee with Cameron! And as such I wanted to wholeheartedly Thank you from the absolute bottom of my heart for all the time that you put in on the regular as well as the love that you always put in your morning episodes❗️❕️❗️
  • Great video and I would love to watch more on this subject. This is exactly the getting started tutorial I needed for modular synth. Thanks
