I absolutely adore this movie! I cried like a baby at the love confession scene, and the first thing I did after watching was to ask God for a husband like Mr. Ray Singleton 😂

He looks so different when not acting! His face, his voice are completely transformed as Ray. He is really a very talented actor!

The tension between them was so long, but he was a real gentleman to her. He held out so long in hopes that she would finally recognize that it wasn't just a set up marriage, but that he truly cared for her and didn't want her to leave him. So he finally tells her. What a relief to hear him talking to her about that part.

The storyline is wonderful, the characters believable & the scenery breathtaking. This is in the top 5 of my favorite movies of all time.

I remember seeing this movie a long time ago, and why I chose to see it again I really don't know. But it turned out to be a most amazing film. No violence, cussing, drugs, alcohol or sex at all. Just a really peaceful, enjoyable movie.

Such a beautiful movie. So glad the Japanese internment was included as so many people are not aware of it. The two sweet girls humanized the sadness of that situation. Thanks for sharing this video.

My favorite scene in the movie is after she had the baby and he was holding and singing to the baby. Her looking at him and just falling in love with him.

I fell in love with Ray & Livy. Mare Winningham is her absolute wonderful self. I’ve watched over & over studying the characters. The actors did a wonderful job expressing the entire relationship. Skeet is as handsome as Keri is beautiful. Fantastic film and feel good love story.
