I live in the mountains of eastern Tennessee, and I approve of this message! 😂

Love the mournful pitiful mandolin playing use to cue the entry of the Johnsons coming in the courtroom. 🤣

Never saw this episode. Granny and Jethro really made this show, especially Granny. The Hillibillies was must watch TV. Granny on the witness stand hysterical.
  • Once when I was at a client's home (self-employed remodeler) a neighbor backed out of her garage, sideswiped my parked ancient work truck, bent the front bumper outwards. I performed a "Jethro Bumper Repair", told her not to worry about it. She was SO upset! It took forever to convince her it was ok!!
  • People this is why we should quit electing lawyers to go to Washington.
  • Perfect acting and perfect writing. Every scene from every episode creates true audience laughter and sometimes hysteria. These people were a tremendous joy to view.

My father was onecof them. He was from way back in the sticks on Clinch Mt. He loved this show and never missed it. He would point out which one of his family members were like each character

A lot people don't realize that Jethro is only about 12 years old ---- he's just a big boy -- 😂

It shows how some lawyers are so sleazy to make their bogus clients wear bandages and using wheelchairs.
  • And I thought I had seen all the shows several times. Dont remember this one!

the italian music plays when the clients come in and when telling their sob story lies, granny telling the judge that's twice you showed up here in your nightgown......lol I love Kathleen Freeman esp on this show, the lucy show and I dream Of Jeanie.....loud mouth..
  • I was always fascinated with Buddy Ebsen. As a special dancer termed Eccentric along with James Cagney. Ebsen danced with Shirley Temple when she was a child A client brought Mr Ebsen to my workshop so I could meet him. This was long before cell phones. I was out on a job site and missed the opportunity. This was the only regret in my life. I am still sad at the missed meeting.
