I like the idea of renting skins, but I think it should be limited to the most recent case at any given time. It will lower the premium that new skins get on the market and might help prices stabilize faster.

Renting skins is a cool idea, it basically makes a 10 dollars per month subscription for the newest skins. I think for people who don't really care about keeping them and just want the newest skins, this is a great alternative. It also lessens the gambling aspect, which is neat.

People would say it doesn't matter but the main menu response is SO SMOOTH, fucking thanks valve! And they changed the overbassed sound when you click on gamemode/ choose map pool etc. And as a vertigo enjoyer (didn't like it in CSGO, in CS2 however I do) these changes are quite interesting, the A bombsite will be quite an adventure xD

The budget comparsion you did to the camera movement the older one appears to have a smooth option enabled, making it look like less fast while the right one seems to be faster and sharper

I would be interested to see how renting skins would effect older cases that no longer drop in the world pool. I can only imagine it’s going to increase prices more since you’re essentially erasing a case for items that cannot be sold to the market and thus making the supply smaller and rarer. It could play out many ways, we will just have to wait and see.

I think in terms of the vert update I see what they're trying to do (enable more retakes with the addition of the grates and new open wall), but it'll be interesting to see how these changes will actually play out. I also agree that changes like these brings new fresh life into a map but im concerned about the rotates from B and mid. We will see though.

I think the renting feature is a really smart thing and fixes the problem that for so many people, good skins are unreachable because they cant open so many cases to get them
