I've honesly hoped that this one would get a 9 or even light 10, but you're right. This was pretty good review and i agree with you on almost all parts.

It's funny because I felt that "The Now Now" was "The Fall" done better. Now "Song Machine" is "Humanz" done better.

I'm just happy he liked Opium. Been seeing a number of people overlook it due to the slow pace of the track. Think it works really well as a transition into the deluxe tracks and has such a great payoff to its buildup

The Pink Phantom is a masterpiece to my ears. The dichotomy of 6LACK's autotune melancholy and Elton's grandiose singing just hits it for me so hard, to the point where it makes me teary with its beauty. Song Machine has pushed so many new songs into my top 10 Gorillaz songs!
