There will never be another cultural time like the one embodied by the 90s supermodels, who only needed to be known by their first name. Absolute badasses. I was a teenager at the time and it was so awesome to see them whenever they popped up in music videos, iconic film shoots, basically everywhere. And they all had this amazing ability to not make you feel inferior, quite the opposite. Some sort of charming, magical quality about them always radiated off the screen. They always brought joy & positivity, probably because of their camaraderie. Whereas I find nearly all models these days look negative, they rarely bring a smile or look happy. Love seeing the original supermodels still taking command and spreading joy 🙂
