I call them chicken killers every time I see one... I've lost at least 4 chickens to them... I've had a few of my chickens straight up vanish out of nowhere.... and without anything left behind. Now I'm not 100% for sure it's hawks that did it but I've seen and hear them around here... and I've seen one in a tree by the chicken house.

Lovely birds, but shitty video: The bird shown as #4 at 1:11 is not a sparrow hawk. As you can see, it is a pretty large bird, probably a ferruginous hawk or rough-legged buzzard. The small bird shown right after is not even a hawk, but a falcon. At 1:20 it's also a falcon (easily recognizeable by the wire cutter-like beak with a toothy protrusion right behind the hook), not a hawk. At #6 (1:49) we have an eagle, a distant relative to hawks, but having a much larger beak in relation to the head. #8 (2:28) another falcon (female kestrel). And what is shown as "pellets" right after is either bird feed or wood-fire chips but not the kind of fur balls hawks cough up after digesting their food. After this, the videos shows the same footage over and over.

I been seeing hawks after my love one passed! And this is actually a good sign because it means when you see a hawk after someone past away and you been seeing it a lot it means there are the hawk!
