We all know Cali is where real football talent is produced.

Well i give duncanville credit for stepping up playing IMG last year and Mater Dei this year! No other texas teams don't want to accept the challenge and surely DON'T want to travel to california. I know Mater Dei has reached out to Austin, Westlake and Allen texas and they both declined so duncanville took it! Not sure about North Shore.

like others have said. shout out to duncanville for steppin up and not duckin mater deis fade like everybody else. with that being said. Cali > texas
  • Everybody claimed this an that but MD is the best HS team in the country.. Iv said it over an over, the only team at any time that can beat them is more than likely also in the Trinity league. I dont see another team beating them if they only play one time.

That throw at 1:38 was fuckin filthy! There are D1 guys who don’t even make that throw. Anticipation at its finest.
  • Mater Dei humbled Duncanville!! That Cali ball is different! They develop their players into FOOTBALL PLAYERS!! Duncanville is going to be a problem in Tx. because they're playing the top teams in America! When you test your programs heart against the VERY BEST, you get the VERY BEST out of your program! This is why Duncanville won a championship! THEY PLAYED THE BEST HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM IN AMERICA AND GOT HUMBLED ON THEIR OWN TURF! Hats off to the Duncanville kids for fighting a GIANT in Mater Dei... It's only up from here! I'm from Los Angeles, our programs be elite because we're physical, fast, strong and CEREBRAL at all 3 levels on the field! OUR KIDS ARE DEDICATED TO FOOTBALL! KEEP SCHEDULING THE BEST DUNCANVILLE, BECAUSE IT'S BUILDING RESPECT FOR YOUR PROGRAM AND HEART AND CHARACTER FOR YOUR ATHLETES! RESPECT FROM CALI!

Serious question: where would you rank Dville in comparison to other Texas powerhouses? (De Soto, Allen, North Shore, Westlake etc )
  • @thedeadpoetspen
Duncanville's RB Medlocke really impressed me. MD's D front was clearly too fast for that Huge line....but there RB played hard and never quit. Was their best player. David Bailey was clearly the best player on that field. That dude lined up everywhere and dominated.

I don’t want to hear anything about Florida or Texas is better than California anymore. I hear excuses after excuses. This Mater Dei team isn’t the same as last year as well. Last year was stacked! Just in case y’all don’t know anything about private schools in California (southern Cali) teams like Mater Dei don’t go outside California to recruit.private schools like Mater Dei and St John Bosco don’t recruit all over the country like IMG. It’s just a bunch of inner city kids getting out to make something of themselves cuz of the environment they’re in can easily influence their minds.High school teams in California loves the competition when they play each other ain’t no one complaining why Bosco and MD always winning. Go look up THE TRINITY LEAGUE it’s the most powerful and hardest league in the country. The only people that would give Mater Dei a run for their money is those teams in that league. Anyone else outside that including any teams from Texas and Florida won’t ever survive that schedule. So good job to Duncanville but y’all need better adjustments when playing MD. Hope y’all Texas boys come down to cali enjoy the ocean breeze and play some ball there.

This definitely isn’t the same Duncanville team as years past. Westlake would have provided Mater Dei a better matchup but 42-3 against any national ranked team tells me that this team is different.

Damn California is the best in football. I remember in the 90s when De La Salle was on top for the longest period and even hold the record to this day. They beat high schools across the nation. Now we have Mater Dei doing the same. Crazy how good California is.
  • @ainthating5028
To compete and beat a team like Mater Dei you got to have some talent and your team have to be well coached. That touchdown #8 made, what the hell the safety #24 doing and obviously he suppose to be helping #4 over top because he let #8 release inside. Touchdown because that shyt wasn’t very sound.ijs
  • @MyraMarks
Bet Mater Dei wish they could play Texas teams every week.
  • @danabaker596
#7 for Duncanville played his ASS off. You can learn alot about a player when their team is down like that. He played hard every play. I'd take him on my team, ANYTIME!
  • @drats1279
Good tune up game for Mater Dei Maybe next year they could play a team that would challenge them. Duncanville was a bust.
