  • Just converted one side today on a JPC. Just as you suggested, I run an MBITR on one side and only really need one side to open. Thanks for the video. Helped me make sure I wasn’t jacking it up. I left the carbon fiber strip in place. The only thing I have to work out is a mag pouch now sticks out a little farther than I like; I run soft armor on the sides so I’ll play around with it a little more. Again, thanks for the video and tips!

Just an update. The instructions to install states that once the velcro is removed you actually use the opposite end of the cummerbund to install the tubes. The end you would typically use the bungee to secure on the rear plate bag. So the tidy ends would go to the tubes and you could use a quick flame to remove the loose threads and then reinstall that side to the rear bag using the bungee. Nice and clean. Good video

Looks great. Will look even better after you take it to the Korean sew shop ladies.

So i bought these and dont think theyre very durable. I installed them and 1st time using the carrier was today. I took the carrier off put it in the back of my vehicle and the female tube was coming off. Why? Bc its a repair tube snd not a full tube and rhe material that is attached to the female tube was seperating from the tube. Not bc it was torn but bc the repair tube isnt a full tube and is cut in the middle so u can slide a new one on if u break it. Im ok with using repair tubes of im replacing the oem full tube that was broken. Now i have to worry about the tube coming undone bc the material im that area is lacking so it can slip off. The blaze def systems one from pictures online seem to have enough material to keep it from slipping off

Do you know of any downside to the Quick Connect tubes? I have a JPC and thinking about adding the Quick Connect tubes.

Do you think this would work with other PCs with similar style cummerbund. For example the velocity systems scarab LT?

Is this still the gold standard for Crye tube conversion in 2021? Thinking of making this mod and wondering if there is anything better that you would recommend?
  • This is like a dumb question, im planning to get a jpc 2.0, on their site it lets me order even tho its out of stock, does that mean I’ll be waiting on lead times or will it block my order, its my first pc so I just wanted to ask, good video nevertheless

Does saber solutions not exist anymore? I can’t find them anywhere
  • I may be a year too late, and maybe my idea is wrong all together. What if we just uninstall and flip the cummerbund backwards, putting the Velcro side on the back of the PC, thus refraining from any alterations. You can Velcro the cummerbund together at the back on top of one another or folded as needed, and still have enough room tie the cummerbund on: double the retention.
