  • When MJ speaks it's almost like hearing a gospel. He's so eloquent and wise. MJ a true legend and will still be hundred years from now.

I remember seeing an interview with MJ many years ago where said that the many people saying, "I wish I could play like MJ for just one day" aren't fair. Essentially, saying they want to reap the fruits of MJ's labor without putting in the work and pain and sacrifice that he put in to get where he is.

MJ didn't let his failures define him. He learned from them and used them to fuel his success. I recall a quote "I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying." MJ is an inspiration to us all. He showed us that it is possible to achieve great things, even if we fail along the way. If we want to be successful, we should follow his example and never give up on our dreams. Stay strong and keep pushing forward!
  • I love this man, he's a God here in CHICAGO. His birthday should be a holiday
  • His best attribute was admitting his failures and overcoming them. "CONFIDENCE" is the key word to initiate determination at its best, and he has clearly demonstrated that. His mentality from a great parenthood played a roll in that. BigUps to his parents for raising a great phenomenal human being. RESPECT!!!

I grew up watching MJ do the most amazing things on a basketball court. While I have a lot of basketball favorites, MJ will forever be my GOAT for basketball.🫶🏼
  • That’s why he’s the goat. Also MJ your the reason, I never gave up, after all my operations when I had growing up. Your determination inspired me to be a better person. That winning shot against Cleveland. I was in children’s hospital. It made me have motivation to overcome my injuries in rehab. Also gotten me interested in playing basketball 🏀. In a way you saved me. Thanks for being a inspiration and a great role model. When my life was at its worst.

Wow, I never imagined a world without Jordan. It's heartbreaking. He's been my all-time favorite player. It's not just his skills; it's his relentless determination to win, never giving up even when things seem bleak. He's an inspiration, especially when competing against the best of the best. Jordan's ability to keep going, to push harder, makes him an incredible overachiever in my eyes. If god was real, it would be Jordan for sure

Because life is brutal. Only a few end up at the top. Someone has to be the best.

There is no greater player than Michael Jordan. Just look at the coverage of his retirement. It was a cultural moment that everyone felt. I literally cried watching sportscenter as a teenager. When the other "greats" retire it won't be more than a blip. He would average 50 a game in today's NBA. I feel so blessed to grow up watching him.
  • @DonBMW
Best era of basketball when MJ played. Watched every single game an celebrated the Bulls big time. My man speaks the truth; you have to have that confidence. An interviewer once told me I was too confident in my skills. Glad I did not get that job because today I earn exponentially more than that because of my confidence. That's what I'm paid for.
  • @Julius_Paul
Without a natural inclination to work hard for success, there is only one way to build the burning desire and workmanship to succeed: You must compete with yourself, not others.
  • Amazing! .Not only his basketball skills but his mind set to me puts Michael Jordan above most basketball players
  • @laurentpk
He may not have joined the 'Air Force' but he CREATED one!!! Love Jordan... always did. ❤😊☝👍🙏🙌
  • @Steadfast90
"Alot of times i had to battle myself to challenge myself." I hear that loud and clear.
  • @HazenChristensen
MJ is a solid person. I was lucky enough to meet him and talk with him & Pippen for an hour or so at a Ky Derby Party. Early in his career with the Bulls - he would stay with one of my good friends in Chicago. I brought that up and it was instant amazement how small the world really is. He gave great advice and was funny. It was awesome. :))
