I remember seeing an interview with MJ many years ago where said that the many people saying, "I wish I could play like MJ for just one day" aren't fair. Essentially, saying they want to reap the fruits of MJ's labor without putting in the work and pain and sacrifice that he put in to get where he is.

MJ didn't let his failures define him. He learned from them and used them to fuel his success. I recall a quote "I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying." MJ is an inspiration to us all. He showed us that it is possible to achieve great things, even if we fail along the way. There is no greater player than Michael Jordan. Just look at the coverage of his retirement. It was a cultural moment that everyone felt. I literally cried watching sportscenter as a teenager. When the other "greats" retire it won't be more than a blip. He would average 50 a game in today's NBA. I feel so blessed to grow up watching him.

Best era of basketball when MJ played. Watched every single game an celebrated the Bulls big time. My man speaks the truth; you have to have that confidence. An interviewer once told me I was too confident in my skills. Glad I did not get that job because today I earn exponentially more than that because of my confidence. That's what I'm paid for.

MJ is a solid person. I was lucky enough to meet him and talk with him & Pippen for an hour or so at a Ky Derby Party. Early in his career with the Bulls - he would stay with one of my good friends in Chicago. I brought that up and it was instant amazement how small the world really is. He gave great advice and was funny. It was awesome. :))
