I was a child in the 60s and attended Hollywood Christmas Parade on Hollywood blvd and there I saw The Beverly Hillbillies cast in their old automobile waving to everyone. I remember seeing Miss Jane Hathaway with the famous family. It was a beautiful sight!

In my humble opinion, the best, greatest and funniest episode of the Beverly Hillbillies was the one where it was implied that Jethro had gone to the movies and seen the 1964 James Bond film, "Goldfinger" and wanted be just like Agent 007. Jethro wanted to be a double naught spy !!. He got a trench coat and filled it full of all kinds of tools making it way too heavy to wear. He also got a wide brimmed steel hat just like the one "Odd Job"wore, who was one of the villains in "Goldfinger". Jethro even went as far as to put an armored turret on the Clampett's old, broken down truck. That episode gets funnier every single time that I watch it.
