    Since i am asian here is a fried rice recipe Ingredients: - 2 cups of cooked rice (preferably cold, day-old rice works best) - 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil - 2 eggs, lightly beaten - 1 small onion, finely chopped - 2 cloves garlic, minced - 1 cup of mixed vegetables (such as peas, carrots, and corn) - 2-3 tablespoons of soy sauce (adjust to taste) - 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce (optional) - Salt and pepper to taste - 2 green onions, chopped - Optional additions: cooked chicken, shrimp, or tofu for protein Instructions: 1. **Prepare Ingredients**: If you're using fresh rice, spread it out on a tray and let it cool down completely. This helps prevent the rice from getting mushy when frying. 2. **Cook Eggs**: Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add a teaspoon of oil and pour in the beaten eggs. Scramble briefly until just set, then remove them from the pan and set aside. 3. **Sauté Onions and Garlic**: Add another tablespoon of oil to the pan.
