For the chainlift, it's best to use observers facing each other connected to a redstone torch. Just to make it more realistic.

There is one limitation on the type of wood used in the roller coaster - it has to work well in combination with the color of the roller coaster itself! So don't use lime green concrete with warped wood, or black concrete with spruce or dark oak wood. On the other hand, any two of yellow, magenta or cyan would fit perfectly together.

That is so cool but may i make a suggestion? I would add some food and drink stands to your theme park and maybe some other theme park games that people can win diamonds or other material at but make the games really hard.
