As a 12 year old. (13 now) I am truly sorry for their behavior. This is insane, I order my things online just so no one blames me. People my age have made a bad reputation.

Hello, I am a 13 year old who has just recently started shopping at Sephora. I have NEVER touched a tester for skincare. If I do, I grab the tiniest bit with the swabs they provide. I wouldn’t destroy products ESPECIALLY if they aren’t mine. I also only shop there when I am with my mom. She educates me on what is good to use for my age and what I can wait for. Parents should be with their kids in more grown up stores like Sephora. I don’t think we should ban kids, I think we need to educate them on how to use everything properly. I’m not defending the kids I’m just stating what we can do. This is just my opinion and my personal opinion!! Thanks for reading all of this if you did

As a 12 year old I’m sorry for these kids behaviour💀

Kids like this make me so mad, i'm 13 almost 14 and love Sephora and i just dont understand how kids can be so disrespectful. Like it gives the rest of us respectful kids a bad rep
  • Im 15 and the employees follow me around in sephora because they think just because I look young im gonna destroy the drunk elephant or something 🙄 Its so annoying because these little 9 year olds give minors a bad reputation at sephora because now the employees just think im gonna use the drunk elephant to make a "skincare smoothie" or somethung. I dont even need drunk elephant

I think that there needs to be a rule in place, like- kids under 13 have to shop with an adult. This is not because I hate kids, but if you look at the prices of some of these makeup and skincare products, they are not cheap. Definitely should also have the rule where if you ruin the testing products, you have to pay for it, because Istg these kids are doing this to the test products because they can’t afford to get their own and that is NOT acceptable!

As someone who goes to Sephora and is on the younger side, I’m APPALLED that ppl my age are doing this, who the hell raised these demons.
  • I’m 17, I barely ever go to Sephora and when I do I am always as respectful and clean as I humanly can be, I genuinely don’t know why these kids are so barbaric with the way they treat these products and employees, it’s genuinely scary knowing these kids are gonna be the future of our world with how they act.

I’m 11 years old and I completely agree I still shop at Claire’s go to build a bear and do all that stuff. I see my friends brag about what they got at Sephora like a drunk elephant Retional cream and the glow recipe toner like what?! I go to Sephora for special occasions and I just get the bronzing drops and a lip gloss. Any skincare that I use are all from bubble and it’s a simple cleanser toner moisturizer and spf. Im so confused. And I have started puberty

Honestly as SOON as I start driving ima go to the store, buy baby wipes and stuff and go CLEAN my local Sephoras once a week. For free, duh, cus these parents are no better than their crazy wild animal kids. It's so gross!!!!
  • @menaalstar9354
Hii! I just turned 12 and my mom finally let me use the glow recipe moisturizer! I agree with everyone over the fact that us girls don’t need toners, retinol, bronzing drops, makeup etc! I went to the mall yesterday and saw the Sephora filled with 10 year olds alone in Sephora with like 2 baskets each filled with drunk elephant, makeup, skincare etc.on top of that they have phones in their hands! I think we should enjoy our childhood as a 12 year old girl like we are blessed with soft baby skin! I get we are growing and getting older and we all have acne, but that when all we need is a gentle face wash and a moisturizer! Like we don’t need plumping lip oil with serums and toners!!! We don’t need to rush because our teen years are coming and we will one day get all this it’s just not the time right now! Enjoy ur childhood!!!!
  • @Brookiiii100
honestly i think that they should have an employee at the drunk elephant products watching for people messing up the products and tell them to leave.
  • I work at Ulta and I am so tired of these tweens destroying our store! It takes a really long time to clean all that stuff up and it takes away from other things we need to get done!
  • @xo.emelia
Im 13 years old and yes i go to sephora but i refuse to touch the testers unless i want to swatch something then i ask a worker to help me. My mom also refuses to touch testers because of all of the bacteria etc. I have a normal 3-4 step skincare routine with trendy products but they work for my skin (Cleanser, toner, a serum, moisturizer, spf) and a small makeup routine of concealer, mascara, highlighter, blush and occasionally bronzer. Tbh its disgusting on what other children do to the testers and they need none of this.
  • @CMTEDIT
As an 11 year old. I’m so very sorry for the girls my age who are treating Sephora workers like this and ruining the testers. Personally I’m not really allowed to have drunk elephant, glow recipe, any sort of foundation, etc. I most of the time get anxiety just walking into a Sephora because I’m afraid of being judged for expressing myself. And again I’m so truly sorry for their behavior🤍
  • @Love4MK_
I started shopping for glow recipe at 12 years old because I had breakouts and one of their products was good for my skin. I was scared of people getting judged because people just ruin stuff. I’m older now, and i finally feel I can go into Sephora without being judged. I was never judged before, but it was the fear of being compared to these 10 year olds. If you want to be mature and have skincare then you also have to act mature
  • @RayHayRBLX
As an almost 12 year old that goes to Sephora I ALWAYS clean up after my self and some times I just clean random dirty testers to help them out and I always make sure the things I use are ok for my skin !❤
  • @M4N3AT3R
Im not even an adult and im mad, kids like me are so immature, the only skin care / make up i used \ use is the PLAY eyeshadows from clares and lip gloss and water , Vaseline, mascara (sometimes) , moisturiser, no need for kids to have the newest bubble or drunk elephant skincare, its so weird how 10 year olds are ruining testers, now people cant test if they want it or not. Kids are now saying clares is cringe when it's made for kids and I still beg to go there for the lip glosses and hello kitty stuff, there wasting there life on things that are for mature people who need it. When they start using it it's going to react in a way where it destroys there skin sense they don't need it, I also blame it on the parents because they're aren't watching there own children and letting them get whatever they want, letting them destroy there skin, not even telling them it's bad. Now and days my age has became the most destructive age ever,(I'm not gen z I was born in the millennial years but I'm still a kid)
  • @SAYSAYofficial
I think that it’s not anyone’s job ton to judge someone skincare and hobbies, but messing with testers and being disrespectful is the problem.
  • As a 11 year old who uses very FEW products on my skin, everytime i go into a store that sells products, i never mess around with the products and make sure im very careful and grateful to someone who bought it for me. This trend is just insane! CeraVe and a facecloth should b enough!! last night i went to shoppers ( also has some skincare) and i was just buying some stuff and i went into the skincare/ makeup section just for a peek and literally workers watched me in there- Im so sorry to workers and people who own these stores. My people should grow up but not too fast.
