I think anyone who listens to this talk will come away feeling motivated and inspired to be their best self, and that's a truly valuable thing.
  • I can't help but admire Israel for the strength of his convictions.
  • @parlyperdot
The idea of having a clear purpose and vision is so important for achieving success, and I think Israel did a great job of conveying that
  • @shhhadowisme
Confronting our own mortality is indeed the greatest motivator
  • @maysongrisel
Powerful, and the metaphors are very strong and clear, Israel you are a natural born leader.
  • @mikedrawley
Definitely agree that you have to have a clear picture of what your purpose is and what you're trying to achieve. You can't just be ambling throughout life waiting for your purpose to come to you.

A tree can't reach to heaven without it's roots going all the way to heII. Sometimes we have to hit those lows in order to understand and appreciate just how high we can soar. Thank you for this reminder Israel.
  • @carlasteadman
I think this is a great reminder that even in the face of tragedy, there can be lessons to learn and positive outcomes to be had
  • Israel talks about the importance of having mentors and peers to help us along the way, and I think that's such an important point. We can't do everything on our own, and sometimes we need to rely on others to help us achieve our goals.
  • @georgenotbest
Absolutely agree about how the lack of clarity prevents you from moving forward
  • Oh my days when he talks about dying in the pool and feeling his fathers embrace I choked up so much. What an experience Israel and how beautiful that you were saved in this way.

His personal stories of overcoming adversity and becoming a leader were truly powerful, and his messages about being a visionary leader, living life to the fullest, and getting out of your own way were all incredibly important.
  • @elliotneason
This talk was truly inspiring. His story of overcoming adversity and becoming a leader despite the odds is so powerful. I appreciated his honesty and vulnerability in sharing his personal experiences, including the loss of his father and his own near-death experiences.
  • The idea of being on borrowed time really resonated with me. It's a great reminder to make the most of every day.
  • @eric-tran
I love the straight forwardness of asking people when they're gong to serve their purpose. Most people don't know their purpose, let alone when or how they're going to serve it so to get people thinking about it is so important and motivating.
  • His message about being a visionary leader really resonated with me, and I think it's something that anyone can apply to their own life, regardless of their background or circumstances.
  • @sariyah7175
I love the way he words this, "a man whom I choose to believe represented my fathers will for my life." We really do have the choice of what to believe and I think this is a really beautiful thing to choose.

The point he makes about that car accident taking him outside of his comfort is huge. A lot of the time, even in retrospect, we don't realize that we've been in a rut, that some huge disruptive event that might seem scary and awful is actually a wonderful blessing in disguise, so long as we get our mindset around it correct
