Andy is such a lovely and passionate person and I’ve looked up to him since I was 13 and I’m almost 26 now. I grew out of BVB’s music but I’ll never grow out of Andy and his heart, intelligence, and art. He’s such an admirable person and I respect him so much for all he’s been through and all he’s done.
  • I always thought Vale sounded like they were sad. We needed this. And we're all happy that the fire is reignited. ❤

Him tearing up made me tear with him. I have his biography book that he made and I understand a lot of what he's went through. Everyone grows up with tough situations but I really relate to everything he's said. I listen to his music and the meanings, he's my hero for sure.

I liked it when the interviewer mentioned that Vale was like making a season finale with the mindset that its the actual end. It reminded me of Swan Song; the season 5 finale of Supernatural. For those who don't know, that was exactly what happened - they thought they were going to end the show there and then they got the green light for season 6 and more. I really felt that, there. And just like in Supernatural (In my opinion, don't @ me), Black Veil Brides flourished in their new lease of life with Lonny. His bass style is so much more complex, whereas with Ashley, you can hear that literally all he does is follow the melody. Lonny does little licks and snazzy little grooves in his playing that makes Black Veil Brides better than they ever have. As an OG fan with multi-instrument play-ability, I think I can safely say that. Not to mention, they're all clearly so much happier now that the toxicity and alcohol has left the building. They've really grown into themselves and I love to see it and will always continue to do so <3

i think we can all agree that lonny is a more than amazing addiction to the band <3<3

vale always breaks my heart, especially with the meaning involved. it is such a sad but absolutely beautiful song and i adore it. i am very happy they decided to continue on with the band, they are my favorite and im seeing them in september! 🖤

You can see he gets emotional at the end. Thank god for Lonny.
  • Ashley was always weird tbh. His whole personality was about alcohol and sex. Im really not suprised about what happened :/

we all were watching these knowing damn well who he was talking about

I've been a fan since We Stitch These Wounds originally came out and honestly i feel the band has grown so much without Ashley! If Vale was the last Black Veil Brides song, I would have been a wreck. That song still makes me cry.

Omg ❤❤ so happy they made it through that tough time. They are so strong now its amazing to see. 🎉 All the music they have done since is incredible and some of the best they have ever done. ❤
  • I always felt like Ashley thought he could take Andy’s place and be the main singer I think he was extremely jealous of Andy and wanted everything Andy had and wanted to take over Bvb
  • Vale has always been such a sad and beautiful song, I never knew he wrote it with a mindset that his band might end. I love the Black Veil Brides band, they're great, and I'm glad they continued on from this.

  • I appreciated the Vale. It truly felt like an end to an era. As a long time fan, I felt the energy on it. Truly, it was a finale.

Went through hell and back in 2018 and listening to Vale i felt like someone knew exactly what i was going through and it came at the perfect time. Now it makes sense.
  • @ScarletFlower95
I remember when I first listened to Vale. I felt like something was just not there. The passion I felt from W&D and BVB4 was just not present. I felt alone in this opinion at the time. Now looking back with what I know now, it is very clear that what I was sensing was the issues in the band behind the scenes trickling into the music.
  • Went through hell and back during the Vale era. It felt like the end of an era, possibly the end entirely. And thank god for Lonny. He brings a great energy to the band and they all seem so much happier these days

I'm glad they are still together but I'm happy for Andy Black too. Love the record.
