Honestly...it was probably Fallout that introduced a whole generation to music like this. That is worthy of respect.
  • With all the Fallout games, I never realised that old songs had a lot of nuclear bomb reference.
  • @Dervraka
A little bit of Fallout trivia, the reason the first Fallout used "Maybe" by the Ink Spots was it was being made on a tight budget and the developers realized they could buy the rights to a really old obscure song cheaper than they could hire a musician and orchestra and produce a new song. It ended up being a huge hit and the rest is history, oldie music became a staple of every Fallout game since.
  • As somebody from the Appalachia region (northern West Virginia), I can confirm that: 1: These are certified hood classics. and 2: This is almost exactly what radio stations here sound like.
  • @Quninn
50 songs but it seems i only hear 5 of them on loop
  • @brystudio1182
Something I feel fallout games always do right is the music
  • @prewar9339
You know, without Fallout we would all probably never have heard these songs or even liked them for that matter. Thanks Bethesda for the great music you put in Fallout
  • @braxbro7602
Doesn't matter how good or bad the game is, you can always count on the Fallout games to provide amazing music!
  • This is the type of music my grandpa listens to. Can't really blame him, this shit slaps.
  • I'm in my 40s but have been listening to this music for a very long time. I started playing fallout because I was informed that this is the music on the game . So because of this music I've been a hard-core everyday fallout gamer for 5 years now . Love fallout and love this music .
  • @plantthing2911
The music is one of the parts that make fallout truly fallout
  • @OnTheRide1
Man, the ink spots always start their songs the same way lol.

I thank fallout for getting me into songs that were made before the 70s! I always find myself singing along to most of them too.. all of the Ernie Tennessee Ford songs, Fallout 76s version of country roads, a few of the tracks from fallout 3 and New Vegas I remember when me and my crew finished a massive resource run on the way back home we heard country roads and we just sung along to it in game chat.. had like 6 others following also singing along in time perfectly too. Sadly one of my crew passed away due to cancer earlier this year and me, the remaining crew members and the 6 others who joined us singing along we all came together (along with everyone else in the server) and had a massive memorial service for him sharing the memories we had playing fallout 76 with him and on each of our bases (set up in places that he loved the most) is a power armour statue with shrubbery and other items that he loved around it. I thank him for getting me into gaming and fallout in general.. it's amazing what the gaming community can be like to someone who was very kind and helpful to people who he never met in real life (other than the other two crew members) We will never see him again I know that.. we haven't even permanently filled in that spot he had with me and the others out of respect for him. He also had 2 last requests before he passed 1. He had a TON of weapons, ammunition, medical and food supplies and raw materials that he put aside for all of us and 15k caps to be given to all of us 2. Never to go separate ways no matter what happens and always keep in contact with eachother Aside from that massive act of friendship in his last requests he was a really great friend and I know that I will never get another friend like him. RIP Johnathan mate. Me and the crew miss you and your amazing sense of humour, personality and caring nature everyday. 04/06/1975 - 02/04/2019

Honestly, this game has gotten so much better over time. The amount of incredible side quests and the amount of things they added is incredible. Just wish more people understood this because the game is actually pretty good now
  • I'm 23 and I grew up on this music from my grandpa and great grandma
