Europe's future of space travel

Published 2024-01-03
For 40 years, ESA has been shaping the future in space, while delivering crucial access to space for Europe. That work continues, as brand-new rockets are set to take flight: some reusable, some carbon-neutral, with hybrid propulsion, two and three stages, small, large, crewed and uncrewed, to Earth orbit and deep space, the journey continues.

All of these missions are currently in development in Europe and will ensure our continued ability to explore beyond our own home, while looking back to learn more about it.

This, is the future of space exploration.

  • That's it. When a group of countries start making engineering projects together, then such a great result comes out.
Good job, ESA and Europe 🇪🇺 🎉❤
  • @comicmoniker
Much love to the ESA from America! A victory for any of us is a victory for all of us!!!
  • @arni4946
It's nice knowing that Europe is capable of taking on such ambitious projects.
Go ESA!! Show them how it's done !
  • @Inertia22
Wow! Great idea to showcase some European newspace startups! One of the best videos you made, I'm truly amazed. Congratulations again! 🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺
The coordination between the music and the visuals (for example the crescendo in the music as the engines start up) was brilliant. It reminded me of such films as Koyanisqaatsi or Baraka. Truly brilliant.
Thank you to whoever made this video, please make more in this style!

My son will start studying space engineering in October, hoping to get Europe to the moon. What a time to be a dad.

Il faut que vous continuez à communiquer sur les réseaux sociaux. Vous faites des choses extraordinaires que les jeunes doivent savoir. Bravo encore 👍🏼
  • @tim_peaky
Yes ESA! More like this! Got to think 2 steps ahead these day’s. The competition is going strong. 💪🏼
  • i went to visit the biggest research and testing plant of the ESA, ESTEC and it was amazing. Having seen the space rider prototype and a realistic model of a marslander that they made
  • @matteos1304
I saw the space plane in person during a guided tour of the ESA facility in Nordwijk, it is truly amazing and will get Europe back into the race against NASA & SpaceX!
  • It's a good idea to express yourself more on social media. There is so little communication about the state of affairs. In the field of existing space rockets. In terms of commercial programs. In the field of private and commercial startups. How ESA will finance the new companies. When Europe will start using reusable 1st stage rockets. When will Europe use reusable 1st and 2nd stage rockets? When will Europe have a space plane? We see some animations about hardware projects. But when will we see the demonstrator, prototype, and first test flights of the next generation spaceplane or space vehicles? The only way to succeed rapidly is to boost the new private companies in their efforts. Let the competition begin. Let us join the space race and create the European space economy.

Best of luck to Europe and ESA, excited to see their participation in humanity's race to the cosmos!
  • @kevinh22
We are proud of ESA!!! I am excited about the future of space travel
  • @edoval1029
I hope that the Themis program is well funded, we need a reusable rocket as soon as possible.
    Amazing video 💪🏼

Amazing video. ESA, you make us proud of our SpaceTeamEurope. A special thank you to Marie Carracedo, Space Transportation Comm Coord Officer at ESA, who pushes with brio and efficiently the promotion of the hard work of so many talented space people in Europe.
